Woody's Wood-Fire Pizza, Joplin MO

One of the best kept secrets in Joplin, their wings are phenomenal, my absolute favorite thing there is the appetizer stuffed mushrooms. Oh my God just so good!

The pizza here is always fantastic. The servers are upbeat. I love that you can ask for a certain kind of pizza to be made for the buffet and, if there are ingredients for it, it gets made. The crust is wonderful and whatever toppings are on it taste great every time.

When it was cold outside, our waitress showed us to the outdoor area. The heaters made it feel really warm and it was a quiet little area for my family and I to have a nice conversation!

The pizza was similar to NEPA Mom and Pop pizza places. We ordered The Mutha it had a wonderful balance of veggies and meats. I will for sure go there again! The waiter was attentive. Great ambience, low lighting, intimate feel to it, very comfortable atmosphere. Great job Woody's

This place is amazing. I love how small it is. Very friendly staff. Food was awesome. Was appropriately rated number one in Missouri.

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful hidden gem. I will always visit when I am in Joplin. This place could easily be missed driving by and dismissed as a hole in the wall, but you will not find better pizza in the area. The staff is extremely cordial and hospitable. The Pizza is the only thing I have tried on the menu and not sure I will venture from a sure thing. Overall I can only give this restaurant positive feedback and let them know I will be back soon!

I love a good pizza buffet! The pizza here is delicious, perfectly cooked, wood-fired pies with crust on the thin side. We stopped in for lunch and tasted close to ten different varieties from the buffet. The service was excellent - very friendly! My only complaints would be that I wish the buffet had more than just pizza (salad or breadsticks, maybe) but it was still a great value. I have already recommended Woody’s to my family!

Husband enjoyed his pizza, mine? Well I like everything on mine and I also like super HOT pizza. Top was hot middle and crust was more cold then hot. I think the green peppers should be precooked somewhat so they dont feel like they are fresh out of the fridge. Or maybe I shouldnt like my pizza loaded! Lol a must try place though, the flavors were so good! Dont let the look of the building stop you from stopping in. The staff is super friendly

This was the best brick oven pizza I've ever had! Omg! AH~mazing. It's a small place, with dim lighting (very romantic). The staff treated us as they've known us. Such a great experience. We will definitely come back!

The pizza is ok. They only have the pre-made thin crust and I prefer in-house hand tossed for wood fire pizza.

This is a local staple. I grew going to Woody's. Everytime I'm in town this is one of the places I try to swing by.

If your are near joplin Missouri you have 2 stop to have a pizza from this place. Beer its super kool but dont buy by the glass buy by pitcher its cheapper that way.

Locals love it. 20ish years smashing out great pies. Very small inside but worth the wait if you have to. Or to go one.
