Worlds of Fun Village reviews
18One of the nicest rv parks at which we've stayed! Super level sites, Leland cypresses between each site give some privacy and a nice table and grill. This'll definitely be a go-to for us!
Pool is filthy full of leaves on the bottom, they are not cleaning it apparently. Also the hot tub is empty, can’t use it.
VERY nice spot to camp, regardless if you're going to the parks. New, level sites, most with privacy. All FHU. Plus you get to park at the oceans parking lot for free.
The RV sites are perfect. They are not cramping sites on top of each other. Other RV campgrounds should take example of how sites should be. The hookups are very well designed. The landscaping between the site also well designed for privacy. You will need a water pressure regulator.
Great place to camp while visiting worlds of fun park. Nice long site (pull through) with full hookups. It’s basically on a long hill so you have a heck of a climb to get to the park entrance. The water park side is walkable but closes earlier. We just walked in that way and cut through to the worlds of fun but it you plan to stay late might be better to drive to the other side where the worlds of fun is as they close the water park exit when the water park closes. They’ll explain in more detail when you check in. Good laundry and little store, sites are fairly close together but it’s all nice concrete pads and even though it’s all built into the hill the sites are level.
This is a nice, big rig friendly park. Fully paved and concrete sites that are level. The water pressure is great. Cable tv works well and no issues with electric. There are several food delivery options if you don’t feel like cooking out. Nice and close to Worlds of Fun of course. The registration parking area is a little steep which made me nervous but it was fine. The pool and store are great also. Great place to stay.
I have been coming there for the last 3 years for vacation I'm from Kansas city but I live in Tennessee now and yesterday I was checking out and I asked for a extention that I was willing to pay for because it was storming Chek out is at noon and the manager on duty said I had to be out by 12: 30 because they were booked so I checked my self and they were not booked I was hurt by that because up until then I had no issues I love it there I don't recall the ladies name but she was an older white lady and this was on July 16th so I got soaking wet trying to get out of there un hooking everything and leaving in the middle of a storm. My name is Parrish Drew and I was in sight 82 which is my favorite this was July 16 2023
Hot tub not working for sometime doesn’t look like anyone’s working on it they don’t notify you that when your book in your room and they don’t notify you of it till you go to use it and it’s just not working false advertisement
We had two cabins. They were nice and clean. Linens are provided for all the beds, but not the loft. We brought air mattress and blankets for the kids. The pool was really dirty, lots of leaves at the bottom and floating debris.
Hidden gem! All paved RV Park with trees & grass between spots. We'll maintained & clean. We'll be back!
Don't waste your time if you're wanting to stay more then 14 days. We have a season pass to worlds of fun and oceans of fun and we're going to be in the area for 3 weeks.but they said nothing over 14 days. Sad.y'all are losing money.
Spent the day Saturday, June 17 at both locations. 5 rides not operating for whatever reasons, some shut down all day others seemingly random and in rotation. Season pass holders only for the new Zambezi Zinger? Sketchy maintenance, rotting wood on decks, green algae growing on the soda machines, trash bags piled up at ride entrances, limited food offerings. $7 for a 30 oz soda. You know it only takes. 26 cents to make the soda which includes wages, ice, cups, etc.
Fairly short lines, grounds/plants are nice and very well kept. The Patriot and Mamba only 2 good reasons to spend the then $40 entrance fee.
Not sure what has happened to the park since our visit last year. Turned into the WANNABE amusement park East of the Missouri River at Disney prices, which you are not even in the same universe.
We stayed at the RV site for my daughter's 14th birthday for two nights July 16-17. There were 6 of us - my husband and me and our two daughters and two friends. They enjoyed the pool while I stayed back to decorate the camper and camp site, but realized I forgot tape. I went to the store near check-in to purchase some, but they didn't have any for sale. The gentleman allowed me to take a roll he had in the back. I was go grateful and returned the roll after decorating. The night of my daughter's actual birthday, we arrived back after WOF all day and found a cute little balloon arrangement had been left for her on our outdoor table. We were so pleased with the service, cleanliness and overall attention and upkeep of the grounds and facilities. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
The day of our check-in, we arrived after 9 pm and security let us into our cabin. I proceeded into the bedroom with our luggage and my two 4 year old grandsons. My grandsons are at climbing age so it lead me to inspect the bunkbed. I'm glad I did because housekeeping clearly did not clean it after the previous guests. I found a half eaten slice of old pizza on the top bunk post. I called security back and they moved us to a different cabin and said they would report the incident. Either they didn't or they did becauce the office acted all hush hush like nothing happened. I'm sick to my stomach because I keep thinking on what if my grandsons found it before me. I wasn't wanting any money back but an acknowledgement and apology would of been nice from management. They took my phone number and no one called me. Just disappointed at how we were treated. Lead me to believe they actually don't care.
Too many ants at RV sites. Non-stop mechanical buzzing noise at Village pool. Shop/store has hardly anything. Bathrooms not clean, barely stocked.
Loved it! Clean and spacious, the pool is HUGE! The store is expensive so don't forget soda!
The pictures I found online before our stay do not do this place justice. It was perfect! We won't go to Worlds Of Fun again without staying at a cabin here. Staff was super great as well.
Comfortable cabins to stay in close to the park. There is a gate to go between park and cabins, but it wasn't open during our stay.
