Restaurant Yellowstone Cafe reviews
18So good the waitress could not have been friendlier only problem the burger that was supposed to be 8.99 was 12.99 if you are charging 4 dollars for a piece of cheese that's robbery and should be explained on the menu of by the waitress.
I stopped giving reviews, a long time ago.but this bad experience had pulled me out of retirement.ordered a world record burger and a lazy river burger.these were the driest burgers I have ever eaten.no garnish.no sauce.just plain meat slapped on bun.oh yes a quarter slice of a pickle.whoo hoo.for $15 you could have at least included a slice of tomato.a lettuce leaf.and some onion slices and a dash of secret sauce or something.
But no it was a world record driest burger.and the kitchen worker. (I will not taint the name chef or cook here.) was truly lazy.
Burger was cooked okay.the fries were mediocre both could be better and burger garnished. The waitress was good.not speedy but good.plenty of room for improvement. Not happy at dropping $55 for two dry burgers and a beer each.
The beer was expensive @ $6 but the glasses came ice cold.so I would give some credit there only.
Thought I found a new local place to have my burger fix.alas. I need to keep seeking new places.even Mc Donalds would rate higher on the burger meter here.and cheaper too.
This has become my go to favorite!
The fish is fantastic! The service, atmosphere, food, and cocktails are great. We've visited 4 times now with family and friends and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed it. Recently we've had the steak modiga and it was perfect. Definitely a must try.
The food is always so good, great atmosphere, good waiters. I will always come back for the walleye.
Absolutely AMAZING! This will be our GO TO everything we are near St. Louis. You WILL NOT be disappointed! Try the Walleye, WOW!
We always enjoy the Yellowstone Cafe. The walleye is delicious. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy. Children welcome. Good for families or couples.
Travis the waiter is so nice. It is an older crowd. The walleye is terrific. The crabcakes soup and mushrooms delicious. The carrot cake is an absolute no no no!
Needed time to review some notes with my boss, waitress did not hound us or intrude.
Waitress made recommendations, the roasted pepper soup was delicious.
Ceasar salad came undressed. It wasn't messy and wet.
Great experience.
The food was immaculate but I didn’t see any of the Dutton’s here as the name would imply… They said John was busy tending to the ranch and Jamie was following up with a lawsuit. If you’re looking to find the Dutton’s look to the ranch, not this cafe.
Walleye platter was mouth-watering. One of the best places for seafood! Travis, our server was delightful.he knew the food and was attentive but not intrusive. Roasted red pepper gouda soup cannot be matched anywhere!
After all these years, the Thunderbird Chicken Sandwich is STILL tasty! I just wish it still came on toasted sourdough vs a bun. THANX GUYS!
i used a knife and fork to cut it.sorry no pic before eating
OMG so so good! Walleye was to-die-for and I don't even love walleye! Great place for family dinner night. Staff was very pleasant- and there are great kid prices during the week!
Loved it here! The food was delicious. I ordered the crab cake platter with fries and slaw. The fries were crispy and perfection! Excellent service. We enjoyed a chocolate bundt cake a la mode for dessert. I would recommend this place.
Went for dinner last night. My wife had the rosemary chicken special, I had the walleye platter. Both excellent with very generous portions. Prices very reasonable for what you get. Service was excellent and very attentive. Rich did a great job but it was also nice to see others stop by to pick up dishes, etc. The restaurant was fairly full and it seemed like they were fully staffed, a rarity in Covid times. They must be doing something right!
This place is wonderful we loved the food and the service. Crystal our server was the Greatest I highly recommend it. You should go there we will definitely go again.
My husband just surprised me by taking me her for dinner. Or waiter Marcus was excellent and super polite. The ribeye was cooked perfect and juicy! LOVED LOVED THE DECOR. We will defiantly be back!
It was okay expected a little bit more of the food but it wasn't too bad I had a burger but the fries were delicious fun place to take kids
Sunday dinner, 5pm. Wasn't crowded, but steady stream of dinners. I had the fried clams with fries and a side salad. All was excellent. Didn't get a photo, but the Walleye sandwich was huge and tasted great.
