Ye's Master Wok reviews
19Grabbed some food around 8 last night. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, crab ragoon and egg soup. The shrimp fried rice was horrible for 18$! It was mushy, and you could tell the rice was old. I was disappointed because I heard good reviews about this place. Only thing they didn’t get wrong was the crab ragoons and egg drop soup. The people at the counter was nice though but the food wasn’t hittin around closing time.
I believe they have the best Chinese food in the area. I get the Generals Chicken white meat non breaded. The sauce is so good. For me the soups are what brings me back to any Chinese restaurant and there Hot and Sour soup is soooo good
We called for take out gave my credit card number before completing the order. Finding out they don’t have any gluten free we canceled the order on the same telephone call. Nothing received, nothing owed. They charged my credit card gave me a credit but then removed the credit. My card is still charged.
Have eaten here many times and we love the food. However, getting charged some random convenience fee AND a carry out fee that increases based on the size of your order (why?) It should be cheaper to order and pick up thru the drive thru, not the same cost as delivery. The extra fees drove us to choose something else last night. Will stick to dine in only in the future.
We only get takeout from here, but it's always great. Good portions, good flavors, good chicken.
Food was so fresh and delicious. I could tell my sweet and sour chicken was freshly fried and everything was served hot! Service was polite and very quick to get us our food, which was greatly appreciated! Everyone at my table says they would definitely reccomend it. Peaceful ambience in the restaurant.
This restaurant is great. They easily have the best shrimp fried rice in the city. I drive a long way past many other Chinese restaurants to get here. I've Altro tried their egg foo yung.delicious. The tropical fried rice is great as well and its presentation is beautiful inside of a halved pineapple. I've tried fried rice in various places around the country. Not much compares to Master Wok. The rangoon is a bit bland.the filling could be sweeter and could use a bit of crab meat. Otherwise, this is my favorite Chinese restaurant.
3rd time I have TRIED to eat their sweet and sour chicken. HORRID! THE COATING WAS SO HARD ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO CHEW AND THE CHICKEN. WAS gross. Unless of corse you are into tough, chewy chicken.disgusting.if they can't cook chicken, I would be terrified to try any thing else they "cook" and how horrid to serve that to a customer! I could tell when I opened the box it was gross!
Spent 120 on carry not hard to I guess but got home half the appetizers were missing, they didn’t provide the lemon sauce for the lemon chicken which makes that pretty much worthless, we live too far to go back and fight for it and they don’t answer the phone when you try to resolve the issue. Always loved this place but this is the 3rd time we’re spend a mint and don’t get what we paid for and can’t get it resolved. Be aware. Check your bag if you can they pack it tight and make it difficult to check
Food is always consistently great. Large portions. Cooked fresh made to order. Staff is nice. Atmosphere is pleasant as quiet with great soothing music. Reasonably priced. I've tried other Chinese restaurants but the quality here keeps me coming back. #1
Excellent both times I have been in there. Ate both dine in and carryout. I ate beef lo mein and beef and broccoli with crab rangoon. All were excellent!
This is our favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area. Consistently good, no matter what we order!
We tried take-out yesterday and it was fabulous. We ordered lettuce wraps, teriyaki chicken and beef on a stick, crab rangoons, lo mien noodles and shrimp & scallops. It was all very fresh, delicious and hot. It was ready very quickly from the time we placed our on-line order and picked it up. The only criticism is that we would have liked the teriyaki chicken and beef on sticks to be a little more meat for the price. We will definitely get take-out here again.
All the food is with fresh ingredients und very delicious. Our favorite Chinese restaurant. One suggestion, maybe some Asian background music
Fast, friendly service, food is always fresh. Decently priced. They closed the Master wok in blue springs, but we drive out to lee's summit for this one instead of trying to find another restaurant we like as much as Master Wok
OMG, the food is delicious. The sweet and sour soup is so tasty and perfectly balanced. Kung Pao is excellent. Wow to the fried dumplings.
Great food, large portions, reasonable prices. Great for lunch. We usually split a dinner entre.
Very chill atmosphere, food is amazing especially the fried rice, i know its a side but it is easily the best ive ever had! The pineapple fried rice (tropical rice) is my go to entree and it comes in a cute pineapple boat when you dine in.
Had lunch there yesterday and found the service to be efficient and friendly. The food appeared to be very fresh, including the hot and sour soup. Kung Pao chicken was made with quality white meat. Will definitely eat there again.
