Katie is a phenomenal cosmetology student. She is knowledgeable, friendly and kind. She even taught me how to curl my hair the new way. I recommend Katie at this very nice school. I really love how the teachers really help and teach the students properly. They are great instructors! Wonderful to have a cosmetology school in the Northland that is so inviting and wonderful!

It is a fantastic place to get a haircut. My sons and myself go. We have been going to the northland location for over a year. The have a great staff and awesome students.

This is the second time in a week that I’ve shown up to get my haircut and they have some excuse why I can’t get a haircut
Today is Thursday and the sign says they’re open from nine to 8 p.m.
I walk in to ask for a haircut and they tell me everyone’s going to lunch. That was at 2: 45 PM.
But the sign outside the shop doesn’t say they take a Lunch The schedule on the online app doesn’t say they take a lunch
Then they asked me if I wanted to get My haircut at 4 o’clock

Decided to treat myself a little and booked an appointment online, which was very straight forward. The staff were extremely warm and friendly, and my stylist, Chenoa, is extremely talented! I've always been more of a quiet, reserved person and very anxious about letting others touch my hair, but Chenoa was very understanding and made me feel comfortable the entire time. She was very easy to talk to, like it actually felt like I was chatting with an old friend! I am absolutely in love with how my hair turned out! I'll definitely be back to see her again:)

Aubrey was a great conversationist and made me feel comfortable. I love how the instructors check on them and treat them respectfully!

The stylist were so nice. The staff was able to get two extra appointments in even though we weren’t on the schedule!

My son is special needs and we are trying to acclimate him to getting his hair done at a salon, the staff has been amazing with him.

Haleigh did AMAZING.she took her time to make sure my hair looks and feels amazing and was such a sweet person to talk too. Also she was so gentle and careful with my hair it actually felt good- I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a haircut so much!

Carli was wonderful! She did everything I asked of her. Detailed, and fast.
Will see her again!

MacKenzie displayed complete confidence in her ability to treat my hair. She also did an exceptional job with blow drying it and creating smooth curls by round brushing it with the dryer. I’m excited for my next visit and to try a new color treatment for bringing in my natural gray/silver hair.

I've been going to Z Hair Academy for a while now. I will continue to go. The students are always professional.

Prices are very reasonable here and they take their time to do a great job. Hanna gave me an excellent hair cut and blow dry. Their anti frizz products made my hair so soft. I'm ready for Summer now!

Scheduled an online appointment and thought I’ll try one of the treatments. Got there few min early to check in and after 15 min, I was informed that my hair stylist was still busy and someone else would take care of me. That took another 5-8 min. My hairstylist had to wait for instructor to come by and confirm the hair treatment making sure right product is selected. Had the hair wash done before the hair treatment product was applied. I just wish the academy would teach these kids how to wash hair the way it should be. I don’t think I would go back again.

Sarah is awesome. Always listen's to what I want and always so pleasant. All the ladies are so nice. I've recommended Z hair academy to several friends.
