Zee Bee Market is truly wonderful! I work for Washington University in equity, diversity, and inclusion so we make it goal to work locally and with businesses that source sustainably. Zee Bee is that and more! Their corporate gifting service and bulk ordering have been a huge help to me on numerous occasions. The personal notes and local familiarity are just a bonus on top of this already great business. I cannot recommend them enough, and do frequently to anyone who compliments the Jute and Sari bits basket I carry with me everywhere. Looking forward to many more encounters with the Zee Bee Market family!

What a find! I love a fair trade shop but had never come across this one when they were open, nor did I know they also have a South City location closer to me. I found a lot of items I wanted to take home-in fact, I had to exercise more than a little restraint, but I wound up with three items I really love. The shopkeeper was a joy and we had great conversation. I enthused to her about Maplewood and the massage I'd gotten that morning, and she told me about the South Grand location of their store. Sorry to say I didn't get a single picture, which is a shame, as it's a really picturesque and breezy-feeling shop.

I like buying quality gifts here. From (child approved) kitchen aprons to motivational notebooks they have a nice selection. I was nervous about buying a dress, but they do have a fitting room so you can try them on first.

The items are always appreciated by the recipients. I've bought beautiful and unique jewelry, journals, skincare items, clothing, home decor and much more over the years. This retailer specializes in quality fair trade imports - ceramics, toys, clothes, handbags, carvings, and even coffee! I've purchased their goods at their original South Grand location, and they have all proven to be well made. This store just opened, and I think it will be a great, natural fit into Maplewood.
