A Few Books More reviews
13Great place with an expansive selection. Keep an eye out for books sold only in a set as they aren't always clearly marked.
Truly a Treasure Trove! I found what I was looking for and way more! I could spend hours walking through this beautifully and carefully maintained store for hours. The sweet woman who helped me couldnt have been kinder or more helpful. Will for sure be back here! One box of books was not enough!
The owner was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to do business with him. I recommend his store.
Loved perusing the many many books. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I could happily get lost for hours among the stacks!
If you love books, you owe it to yourself to make sure you stop. Be sure to clear your schedule for at least a couple hours.
We loved this gem of a bookstore! It was like a mini Powell's World of Books. I was having fun browsing the collections until their collection of gold edged used classics arrested me, and I spent the rest of the time dreaming of winning the lottery so I could buy them all (like other bookstores, these very high quality used books cost roughly on average $40 to $120). I found a fancy copy of a favorite novel that I splurged on, and we found other great used books. The prices were all fair and average. Highly, highly recommend!
A very eclectic selection of books in an interesting book store. The experience was fun and in no way resembled a chain store cookie cutter model. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
A Few Books More is the perfect name for this place! When I walked in with my husband and child, we were immediately greeted and given a quick layout of the store to our desired book destination.
For the last few years I have been leaving bookstores with nothing but disappointment, but this place is a true gem. The store was so homey, and the staff was amazing!
A couple of the books we had picked were not priced, but we definitely got a great deal on them. One of the books in our stack was falling apart, and the gentleman working the counter did not hesitate to offer us a fix. Even though the person he said usually mends the books stepped out, he did it for us and chatted with us about the process. It really felt above and beyond!
By the time we got back to our car I was already planning our next visit!
I could get lost for hours amongst the pages and aromas of adventures just waiting to be started. The gentleman behind the counter was so friendly and helpful. Perfect place to spend an afternoon or morning with a cup of coffee perusing the books!
They have just about anything you want. If you don't see it, just ask. This place is an iceberg. What you see is only a small part of what they have. Plus, I've found several books around 100 years old in nearly new condition. Most for around $20 or so.
Wonderful local book store with amazing people to help and who let you explore as long as you like
Large selection and good division of genres. My favorite feature of this store is the collections of books that are clear wrapped and sold as a bundle.
The staff is so friendly and accommodating. My family loves to find new to them treasures.
