Aero Inn, Kalispell MT

Places like this should be shut down there's this older skinny guy that I'm pretty sure lives behind the motel has the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. Then there is a red-headed guy housekeeper that feels it's necessary to chastise the guests that were doing things that the front desk told them to do like put towels and trash outside the door for him to pick up you couldn't just pick it up he had to make sure he knocked on the door to tell us never to do that again. The rooms were disgusting and uncleaned they have the feel of a jail cell since they are made of cinder blocks. The staff makes you feel like they want you to leave the whole experience was a joke we went there because they had a pool but it definitely wasn't worth it. It was so bad We left in the evening and forfeited our money we paid. I recommend America's best value inn they actually treat you with a little respect something the aero inn could definitely work on.

My wife and I started bringing our 3 children up to the Aero Inn in 1995 for a quick weekend get away as we lived in Polson. There was/is a nice swimming pool, hot tub and sauna and the children being ages 11-3 it was an ideal place to stay that we all enjoyed! We also stayed through the yrs for various weekend youth sporting events our kids participated in.
My wife and imoved up here to the Kalispell/Whitefish area 3yrs ago after 2 of our now adult children and their families 5yrs ago moved here. We took the opportunity to stay at the Aero Inn while house hunting when all moved. Now I will be honest and say the interior is somewhat dated nowadays the building exterior/interior, rooms pool area and common area were immaculately clean and fresh smelling. We were attended to very nicely by the new owner and his crew! There are many, many choices of establishments to stay at here in the Flathead valley and I say to each their own according to individual likes and dislikes! As for us we don't mind paying a half to a third as much for our rooms which is how Aero's prices compare to others. Yes it's not as fancy as some but the people we've dealt with are genuine and friendly and we rather like and enjoy the accommodations. I recommend checking the Aero out and compare prices and amenities to the others. They will treat you right!

Most horrible customer service I've ever experienced. The manager (he was most likely an owner), and his front desk employee were at the reception area. She repeated several times that to rent a room a $200 cash deposit was required, with a tone of voice indicating that we could not afford it. What kind of hotel takes only cash? ! She had to say it one more time even after I placed the cash in front of her. The manager was standing next to her and did nothing. My kids went directly to enjoy the pool. The pool was not wheelchair accessible, with paint peeling from the ceiling, and judging by how outdated the place is, most likely had asbestos. The rude front desk lady came to the pool to tell us that there was a two hour limit! At that point we could not take it any longer and asked for a refund. The manager agreed but he said he would subtract the cost for using the pool, and sent the receptionist to check on the condition of the room. Please note that this experience does not reflect Montana's culture, and the price of the room was not any lower than better quality hotels. We stayed at Red Lion instead.

Room was overpriced for the quality. Cold and smelly. We actually had the window open during the night and someone actually came by during the night and closed it.very disturbing and felt unsafe. People were outside talking until about 2-3am.

I find it very concerning there is a camera in the sauna. My boyfriend adjusted the temp (He shouldn’t have done that) but the worker came up to him right after he did it, and said, “you shouldn’t be doing that” are you guys just sitting there behind the desk watching people in the sauna? Don’t people get naked in saunas? I hope you’re not videoing any children. Makes me feel uncomfortable

We arrived late
The staff was amazing. They helped us out a lot. The pool and hot tub was so nice and relaxing. The room was great. I enjoyed my stay there.

The rooms are smelly and outdated, but serviceable in a pinch. They are overpriced, but so is every other hotel in the area peak season. My gripe was with the front desk woman. She offered her unsolicited opinion on many topics, including that she doesn't like foreign cars after asking us the make and model of the car we were driving. We got lectures about smoking in the room and pets after assuring her neither would be an issue. Just one of those people that makes you feel on edge, which is the opposite feeling you want from hospitality workers. The final straw was a comment from her about a family dynamic she thought she observed, which believe me, couldn't be further from the truth. Knowing nothing about the people and the circumstances they are presently in should prevent a hotel clerk from making snarky observations about strangers to their face. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe the middle aged woman working the front desk at the Aero Inn.

It's your typical two-star Hotel which is fine, but the rolling of the eyes because of my service dog and the word no posted with the hundreds of cameras is a hard pass. I'm not even a smoker and I'm offended by all their signs. Very negative environment, never once enjoy your trip, enjoy your stay, I'm not sure they know the word enjoy, they definitely like the word no, no parking large trucks including U-Haul not on their website. Multiple parking spots with no parking signs and cars parked if it's employee parking say so, they per to say no.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool, hot tub and sauna was great. Free wifi that actually worked. Staff was very friendly. Pet friendly. The breakfast was disappointing, but you won’t starve if you like Raisin Bran, toast and bagels.

My kids, husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights. It was ok. Staff were nice. The rooms, pool area, and general updating are needed, but it wasn't horrible.

A basic, no frills & well kept, accomodation that's just fine. Yes it's a dated facility but it's friendly staff & clean pool & simple breakfast are good. Small airport is nearby but wasnt too loud. No flash here.it's a simple reminder that "good enough" is always good enough for us. 100% recommend.

I will never stay here again it was pure hell they are supposedly so worried about keeping unsavory people out they run the good people out (Thank God for priceline help) from the moment we checked in all they did was harass us they went against their own policies were very rude the pool is discussting we checked out a day early and im sure if it weren't for booking with priceline and having their assistance we would not have not had such an easy early check out. They have very unsavory characters as employees. I hope this saves someone some money and time.

We checked in pretty late at night following a disastrous experience at another nearby motel. The staff member happily arranged for accessible accomodations, the room was clean and the linens were fresh. The cinderblock walls and tile floor are a bit cold and a bit dreary but, the ac is very cold, and surprisingly quiet. Overall, it was a nice place.

Aero Inn exceeded our expectations with its exceptional service and comfortable accommodations. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-appointed, while the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The convenient location and reasonable rates make it a top choice for a delightful and hassle-free stay. Highly recommended!

The motel is located on the main road to Kalispell and is easily accessible. The rooms are ok, but room service is not offered. Breakfast is available in the lobby. The staff is friendly, we felt comfortable there.

They went into my room while I was gone and let my dog out and then tried to steal my dog. One of the most horrible places to try and stay.

Stayed here while working the last few years. Rooms are redone. Old building but they are working on upgrading it. Cheap place if that's what your looking for. Pool and hot tub are a bonus. Wish they opened the hot tub earlier so you could soak in the morning before work.

Friendly staff. Room smelled a bit like cleaning products. Felt damp too. Next to small sirport. Not a lot of noise though. Slept great! But for sure a budget place. Would stay again if unable to afford the next place.
