Best and smoothest rental experience ever. It was my first time booking thru Costco Travel, so I was a bit nervous since I didn’t know what to expect. When I walked over to the counter, I simply handed over my driver’s license and Costco Card and was good to go. I politely declined the insurance options, and the staff never questioned my decision. He was not pushy in any way at all. No hidden fees, no unnecessary charges.

When we got the car at the parking lot, it was a bit dirty from the previous renter. I emailed their corporate office to inform them, and they offered a free replacement as well. We didn’t avail of the car swap, but were very satisfied with the speed of their customer service. I highly recommend Alamo. Will definitely be renting from them again in the future!

We worked with Matt for our recent trip and he was phenomenal! We had a tough day of traveling and poor customer service from our airline so having the pleasure to be greated at our destination with great customer service was a breath of fresh air. Matt made sure our price matched our online price and he even took part of the cost off since they had sold out of the truck we had requested. On top of that he went out of his way to find us a truck that would work for our needs and our trip. Thanks Matt! Next time we make a trip to Bozeman we will be renting a vehicle with Alamo again because of him!

Best experience ever - we picked up promptly at the Bozeman airport. Alyssa offered us a mini van that was awesome for our family of 5 at no charge extra bc they were out of the full size cars. No fuss- just did it. So nice! Easy pickup easy drop off.

Best rental experience of my life. I was heading one way to Kalispell (usually really pricey) during a snow storm and Sarah and her team here upgraded me to a safer vehicle at next to nothing. They kept me safe and were awesome and friendly the whole time. Literally the friendliest and most helpful. Thank you so much.

We rented out of the Bozeman airport. The gentleman that greeted us got us through the process very quickly. The car was very clean, and basically new. The return process was just as quick as the initial rental, well quicker. Overall it was an easy process and I won't hesitate to rent from them again when I go back.

If I could give zero stars I would! I'm so disappointed in the way Sam Prentner treated my family and I, and the outcome of my reservation I made 6 months in advance of our trip. Prior to our arrival I called the Alamo reservation line to confirm my reservation 2 months prior and then again, 3 days prior as I heard there was a rental shortage and have heard recent horror stories. We arrive at Bozeman on 6/5/21 for a 8 day trip through Yellowstone and Grand Teton. When I get to the counter, I was told they could not rent to me nor anyone in my family. Mind you all of us were over 21 years of age and none of us have ever rented a car from Alamo before. They gave me a 866 number to call. I called the number and of course, it's closed on the weekends (we arrive on Sat). The manager Sam Prentner was called over and he could not have been more rude, unsympathetic, heartless and just a pure jerk! We were visibly confused, scared, I was crying. Our vacation that has been 2 years in the making totally ruined! Sam had no compassion. Could not give me any info other than to call the number to the office that was closed. Sam doesn't deserve the role of manager. If I ran my business like that I would have no customers! Please reevaluate how you treat customers, this was uncalled for and Sam should not be allowed to treat anyone that way!

I was attempting to rent an SUV but within 24 hours of initial search, came back and they were sold out for the high season at Bozeman MT. Rented a midsize as we needed something no matter what for our family of four. Then a week out from our trip, feeling a little anxiety about making sure there would be a rental avail for us and no hiccups in the process, I called and spoke to a super friendly employee on-site in MT who told me there was a minivan now avail and would I like it - why YES! It was perfect, plenty of room for the family, kids not on top of each other so much less fighting. Competitive pricing compared to other companies. Plenty of USB plugs, XM radio bonus in areas with no radio reception. Vehicle was clean! We liked the extra touch of adding the disinfecting wipes for our use. Keyless start took some getting used to, but no issues there. Wonderful gas mileage as we traveled through 3 national parks on our 2 week trip. Overall, great vehicle, very happy with the service we received!

Lily was amazing! We had three flight delays so it made for a long day! When we landed and got our bags, there was an hour wait for the car but her and her coworker Katie worked diligently to accommodate everybody in a timely fashion. Lily went above and beyond her duties. She recognized I was last in line, with an injured arm and had two tired, hungry kids. She went so far as to pull my car around, loaded my luggage and made sure the car seat was secure! I will definitely recommend Alamo every time and I hope you anybody that uses them gets Lily as your attendant. Thank you!

From Bozeman: Pick-up and Drop off was smooth from start to finish. Truck was clean and ran great! Friendly staff and professional!

I rented a vehicle with a pick up in Bozeman Montana and drop off at Missoula. The counter staff were especially helpful and the entire experience seamless. The vehicle was clean and the SUV Mazda perfect for the trip. I would use Alamo again.

Excellent customer service when picked up the vehicle. They accommodated our changing schedule due to a canceled flight. Highly recommend Alamo. Vehicle was clean and fairly priced.

Rented a Suburban out of Bozeman. It was clean and fit our needs as a family of 5. I'm giving it 3 stars because there was no oil.on day 2, the low oil indicator appeared and there was a distinct smell coming from the engine. When I did put oil in, it was either leaking or the engine burned it quickly. Over the course of 7 days, we added 5 quarts of oil.

Really great experience at the Bozeman, MT Alamo. The airport was overrun with vacationers, the lines were insanely long for everything, and it seemed the entire airport was completely understaffed. I ran from the plane to the Alamo desk, asking my friends to collect my bags and just wait. I was 6th in line stood in line for 45 minutes. Within 10 minutes there were 25 people behind me. People were getting grumpy and agitated and were tired of standing.

The woman working the Alamo counter was a SAINT. She was friendly, smiled, helpful, moved as quickly as humanly possible and NEVER let the impatience of the customers get to her. It was remarkable to see that kind of grace under fire.

She processed my reservation, informed me that I have a 30 min wait until my car is ready as the entire fleet is being rented out daily, the cleaners have hundreds of cars to process each day and are just overwhelmed.

She called my cell when my car was ready, it was clean, gassed up and ready to go. I scooped up my friends and we breezed out of the airport.

I am really, really impressed with how Alamo has handed a very challenging travel season, and their staff deserves a standing O.

Friendly and professional service at the Bozeman Airport counter. Smooth rental process, nice follow up (a check in email from the manager) and easy and fast return. All in all a seamless experience.

We rented from Alamo 5/28/2021-6/5/2021 starting in Bozeman, MT and ending in Jackson, WY. When we arrived in Bozeman, the car we had rented wasn’t available so we were offered a truck instead and a discount. We took the truck and had to make our trip a day short, and they worked with me on that removing the last day amount from my final bill. Overall very pleased with Alamo and will rent with them again.
