Alibi Lounge, Shelby MT

Stopped in for drinks and pizza. Both have always been of quality. Since Charlie’s mostly closed down there isn’t really even any competition for pizza within 100 miles of Cut Bank. The Alibi is always worth the 25 minute drive.

Delicious food large portions and a nice clean environment. Staff have been friendly and helpful each time we are in there. Recommend the buffalo chicken pizza

Literally crossed an international border just to get pizza from the Alibi. Some of the best pizza I have had, super friendly people and a great atmosphere. Definitely going to be coming back for more.

In all fairness, this was the only restaurant in Shelby I found open, welcoming, my and serving food on a Tuesday night in early October.

I am a lazy eater. I do not believe you should have to work at eating. It should be easy. There are exceptions, such as when eating blue crabs. My hands and arms have become fatigued after shelling 12 blue crabs. However, I digress. Eating the classic American burger should not fatigue my jaws.
I generally realize I have made a mistake when I order a “gourmet” burger and am not asked how I want the burger cooked. This is usually occurs due to a few situations: 1) They are a fast food chain who cooks burgers exactly the same every time (for better or worse). This is preferable when the restaurant is run by 14 & 15 year olds. 2) The restaurant buys the ground beef in bulk and does not trust the contents so plays it safe and cooks everything well done which produces what I call “hockey puck” burgers: an over cooked, dense hunk of meat that lacks flavor, texture, moisture, and is hard to choke down. 3) The restaurant really has no clue what they are doing and just cooks burgers like they always have. They may use the finest content for the burgers such as ground chuck, sirloin, brisket, ribeye, or even prime rib. However, they ruin the meat by overcooking it.

Since they advertise their burgers are made from ground brisket, the third option is probably true of this restaurant. I could not discern what cut of beef they were using, but it was not overly ground like cheap ground beef, it still had some variation in its texture. They just need to learn how properly cook their burgers so you don’t have to choke them down.

The fries were ok. They lacked crispness (a bit soggy actually) and yet seemed slightly overcooked.

I am sure the owners and employees of this restaurant are fine people and I hope this review is helpful.

Pizza is good for shelby mt.but the server, Cqasey provided poor service and was rude to myself and my friend over a simple mistake and went so far as to kick me out despite the fact that nothing to do with it.

Wow, portions so large you would have to to be a hungry lumberjack or coal miner to finish. I could not finish my hamburgers and fries and dinner salad it was so generous. I had the cheeseburger and curly fries, my two brothers each had their specialty cheese burgers and fries also. I might have to skip a meal or snack tomorrow. Great service too. This photo shows what I had to take back to the room. Hopefully it gives you an idea of the portion size. The photo of the bathroom gives you a idea of the owners commitment to quality as it was all finished out it tiles which as you know is not cheap. There was even Hot water to wash my hands with.

Remade our pizza. Even though it looked tasty to us they made us an additional pizza to take home because they said the first wasn’t to their standards. Great service, very kind staff!

They have the best pizza, best staff, best drinks. The service is really top notch even through the stress of COVID. We are just so impressed.

Went there for dinner with my sister while in town and the service was horrible. My food was over cooked and my sister's was raw still. Would not recommend going here at all.

Definitely fallen on quality of pizza expected better for the money sorry to say that it wasn’t very good i was very dissatisfied

Absolutely amazing food! The pizza is really good and Casey was amazing! Really attentive and took care of all our needs. Can't wait to come back again!

Today, I sat down at the Alibi for dinner expecting the terrific service and food I’ve been accustomed to receiving. To my dismay, I waiting over AN HOUR FOR ONE PIZZA. This type of service is downright disrespectful. When I asked to speak to the owner about the service and receiving a full refund, she grabbed my newly, uneven, half burnt pizza off of my table, and proceeded to say, “good-bye then! ” The owner came off as rude, incompetent of running a business and sadly, with poor intentions of keeping this restaurant operational. New ownership is AWFUL! DON’T GO TO THE ALIBI.

Amazing food, I got the Alibi burger, absolutely delicious. Very fair prices. Definitely recommend.

No wash station for staff just hand sanitizer, dishes are cleaned with cold water, cooks arent food safe including cross contamination and the owner picks and chooses what ADA regulations they choose to follow.
