The worst company who does not pay doctor, My doctor treated me several time, an dI called that I have 30 times of Acupucture treatments in my plan, and I have to call, and the phone takes me more 20 different location and keep forwarding me to different department and after I got connect, no one talk, and the phone get cutt off, what is the point I have this insurance, o one is really working, only the answer machine, press 2, and than transfer press 0, and then transfer, press 1, and keep looping until someone cut me off. 1 What a lossy company, Why John Hopkins use this insurance to make sure no payment

0 stars! The call center is an absolute joke. After being put on hold for over 30 minutes, I get disconnected. They didn't call back like they said they would. Another on hold for 25 minutes to be disconnected AGAIN! A 3rd call and I ask for a manager. Of course, one isn't available. Their website says they're open until 7: 30pm mountain time. It's 7: 30 pm eastern time where I'm at. Now their recording says they're closed! They just kept me on hold until they closed early! There is NO detailed documents outlining the cost breakdown of the coverage of my plan online. There is only a summary that says, "covered expenses" which is untrue. Looks like I'm going to have to book a flight to Montana to get a straight answer out of these yahoo's. I so can't wait to fire these people December 31 at 11: 59 pm and 59 seconds. Steer clear of this company. If your employer offers it, DECLINE and buy your own insurance no matter the cost. It will save you an extraordinary amount of time, frustration, and money.

***Update***
The original call started at 5: 30pm, not 7: 30pm! You still refused to give me the information I requested. You still REFUSED to call me back at the times I messaged that I was available. You have been paid for your services. Now you OWE ME a refund!

I would give zero stars if I could. Hands down the worst health insurance company to work with. They don't care about people or their health. They do care about lining their pockets with money though. Avoid if you can.

If I had the power, I would boycott this company. It is a horrible, cruel and discriminatory company. The agents and managers are incompetent and insensitive. They don’t care about solving the customer problems. I feel sorry for the people who have to deal with this company because of their employer’s poor choices.

I have always been able to get someone on the phone when I call. I can understand them when I talk to them and they have always been very helpful with anything I need!

I have had nothing but good experiences with Allegiance. I have had them twice through two different employers. Yes, I echo other reviewers that their customer service wait times can be frustrating. But once speaking to a representative, I have only ever received the best help. If you’re able to use a computer, there’s a lot of helpful resources in the patient portal. Recently I had an issue with a hospital billing my insurance incorrectly. I called the hospital multiple times and even went into their office to speak to them with my paperwork. Still they were billing wrong. I called Allegiance for help and they let me know how to submit the claim myself. Within a month their insurance adjusters had looked at the claim and sorted everything out perfectly! They canceled the hospitals previous (incorrect) claim and honestly it saved me a lot of money! The rep who helped me even followed up via email to make sure I got it all submitted as there was a problem using their online PDF tool. Overall I would definitely use this healthcare company again.
