Left our dog there for 2 hours to get evaluated and he did great. Staff was wonderful. Will definately use them for boarding.

My Pups always come home, after boarding, happy and healthy. The Staff is friendly and obviously enjoy their work and their charges.

We went on a cruise and left our 8 year old Yorkie, Whiskey with the folks at Alpine Canine for 21 days. During that time they communicated with us whenever we inquired about him. They even allowed our friends to see how he was doing. We will definitely use them again in the future and would recommend their boarding facility for any size dog. Thankyou!

The staff were fantastic! My puppy had the best time! I was in town for a conference, and I was able to do the temperament test the morning before my conference started. They called an hour later and said he was good to go, so he stayed the rest of the day. We drove home after the conference, and he was worn out and slept the whole drive home (just what I was hoping for!). I loved getting the “pet report card”. Great first experience using a doggie daycare! Bruce will be back if we are in Missoula again. Thank you!

We started my two older (7 year old) dogs here this month. The level of responsiveness setting up the behavioral analysis interview was great. Two days from my inquiry email, we were there meeting the pack.
The level of organization is great, makes drop offs very easy. My dogs hadn’t had a ton of pack experience and are adjusting well. Good communication with the staff on what went well etc.
They also remembered my dogs names after meeting only once, which was great. Looking forward to the hikes.

This is a 5 star review for the staff at Alpine Canine. The way they treat my pups is so reassuring when I have to board them, that I know they’re in good hands while I’m out of town and can travel with peace of mind. 5 stars is also for the Alpine Canine facility- it is cheerful and clean, and from the moment I drive up it is evident that all the dogs- big and small- are having a great time.
5 stars applies to the programs too. The pack hike is such a cool feature. I take advantage of day care when I know I have a busy day or just want to have a day to run errands and do chores without the dogs underfoot. Highly recommend, but don’t just take my word for it…
The review you should really trust is these two totally wiped out doggos! They get so excited as soon as we turn down the dirt road and can’t wait to get inside. When I pick them up, they are completely exhausted and sleep like sweet little angels for a whole day afterwards. It’s a treat for yourself, and a treat for your best friend too

My labradoodle Baylee is high energy. I drop her off at Alpine Canine for a hike and a play day a couple times a month and on occasion utilize the boarding for short trips. Baylee gets so excited when she sees the staff, especially Zach, who always remembers her name. Baylee runs to greet him with wiggles and licks on the face. The 10 o'clock hike is just what Baylee needs and I love that it is an option. It's a great time for her to run and explore on the mountain acreage. After a day of fun and play, she comes home worn out. I couldn't ask for a better place for my dog. It's fun for her and peace of mind for me.

Alpine Canine is the best! They are friendly, kind, and efficient. They make daycare/boarding our aussie pup as easy as possible.

All I can say is that every time we drop our dog off he is smiling from ear to ear! The staff is amazing and their love of all the dogs really shows!

It was a medical emergency of grandson. Had to bring the dogs with us, but on the way to Missoula a friend told us about Alpine Kennels. We turned quickly on Reserve and found the kennels. They were so nice. They called our vet in Polson and verified they were up-to-date on vaccines, etc. We were so relieved not to have them
In the car for hours unattended.
Now we use them every time we go to
Missoula. Even if it is just for 1/2 day!

It has taken me a while to write this review, but I still struggle with anxiety every time I drive by this place. Last summer in 90 degree weather, my two pups didn't come back from their hike and had no eyes on them for about 3 hours I was told when I asked how they were doing as I left work as early as I could. We hike unleashed all the time and there are no recall issues. A group of my friends came with to look for them and we found them about an hour and half past closing time with only one employee left in the building. The owner did come out to try to help but then soon must have left when all was said and done and didn't want to stick around so I never got to talk to her. The fact that there is no protocol for the lost dogs is unacceptable. Having four wheelers in case a dog gets hurt, binoculars to keep eyes on lost dogs, dog call systems, or walkie talkies to keep in touch between employees would be a great addition to their hikes. Putting extra containers of water around the property would also be a great idea. After calling to discuss the situation a few days later the owner said anywhere between 20 to 40 dogs per two employees go on the hike at once. I figured they did multiple hikes with less dogs at a time. Which would also be another great idea, to hike with less dogs at a time. I was willing to bring my dogs back there and hike with them myself to see what may have happened as to why they would not stick with the group. The owner said she would talk with her husband, and I never heard from them again. I wanted to make it right and figure out what happened, and they weren't willing to do the same. Please do your research before leaving your dog's here!

Our puppy has been to doggy daycare two times now and both times she’s had a great time. She’s always worn out and takes the longest nap afterwards which tells me she’s playing and having fun at Alpine Canine.
