Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Helena

I found the location and service to be excellent. It was exactly what we were looking for on our trip. I've stayed there in the past but the new renovations look great!

Nothing wrong with the facilities. That being said, get ready for a very noisy atmosphere surrounded by meth heads. There's also a room, 208, that has 3 constantly unattended children who jump on the beds and toss furniture all day and night. I've reported it to the front desk, and they are aware that these kids are left unattended but they don't do anything about it. Let's see if Child Protective Services will. I called them.

Located at a prime location, this spot is a considerable place to stop when coming into Helena from the south. It is also a good place to get a cost-effective room when you're just looking to get out of your parents' house for the night.

Location is amazing only a few miles from the capitol with mid level service and terrible rooms I mean the key card didn't work, there's what looks like mold in the bathroom, you can hear everyone walking around and opening doors there's cracks in the sink and crackheads around the area

It's great for a night or two. It's a pretty relaxed environment and the staff is friendly. Fairly clean. The only downside is the odor throughout the property. It made it really hard to sleep. There were people working all night in the room next door, using power tools and what not. That didn't bother me because I'm pretty deaf and my husband and kids slept through it. It was just the foul odor as to why I I give it Four Stars. Even with them working in the room next door, the odor is what made the stay a little unpleasant. It's hard to say what the odor is, but it's a weird combo between moldy carpet and old pee.

Omg we are Hotel And Motel owners in California. I've seen some bad and good but this room was disgusting. Me and my wife did not feel safe at all with all the people running around like they were on meth. Look at the pictures I took they speak for themselves. Especially if your franchise with Americas Best Value Inn you have certain standards you need to live up too. We franchise with them so we know what the standard are. They really need to check in to this we were refunded thank God. And decided to drive another hour and a half so we can feel safe tonight. Please don't go off there add because it's not what's pictured.

Non smoking room was saturated with heavy cigarette smoke. Overwhelming and disgusting!
Room was filthy. Stains on walls, toilet not cleaned.

If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. This place is a horrible representation of what Helena has to offer! Customer service is awful! There’s “long term” guests in the back constantly moving drugs in and out of the place. My neighbor (for the one night I stayed) had no issues leaving the door open with LINES OF COKE on the table. The office didn’t do anything. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever.

Not impressed with the location, the quality of service provided and cleanliness. Booked 2 double rooms, they were so dirty. The doors. Walls, carpet, bathing rooms and the bedding were pathetic. The photos on the Internet are so deceiving. There was a lot of movement outside, people smoking MJ in front of kids. There is potential theft activities around the area. We hardly slept that night, thinking about my children 6 doors away. I'm appealing to the owners to do something about this place.

We ask for non smoking and got a room that the smoke was so bad it was hard to breath. Every time we came back to the room the smoke smell was strong like someone was smoking in the room. The bedspreads where full of stains and cigarette burn holes. The walls looked like they had dried blood on the. The room was not cleaned once while we was there. The day staff was rude. When we went to check out they tried to charge sales tax for a state with no sales taxe. Out of staters beware the Montana has no state tax.

Every time I've ever stayed with these people they are kind to me they are very courteous and they check me in when I want they get me what I want they are very open two suggestions and I would recommend staying here anytime they are definitely worth the money yes it's a Motel 6 but I am telling you if I chose a place in I would stay here where I've always stayed every time I've come here I highly recommend this place no there is no continental breakfast but there is coffee but honestly do you want to pay an extra $30 for a little continental breakfast that you can go pay $15 less for out of McDonald's that morning or somewhere else for a better breakfast I would not. I would stay here they also have added new beds pillows frigerators and microwaves to the rooms which make it nice because then you have access for a fridge in a microwave! And to all the guest service reps that were there when I was there you guys were amazing thank you for putting up with me I lost my keys a million times and they reset him a million times for me no problem without even hesitation of giving me any grief or hard times because I kept deactivating my key

Last option for lodging due to a big event I n town. If you decide to visit let this be the last option for lodging on your list also. I LOVE Montana. Everywhere I've been but this Americas best value

Weighing this at 5 in the morning. Seems to be minimal noise, room was clean upon inspecting, shower is excellent but I sure would love that hot breakfast, but overall fair price and fair motel. Would recommend to those looking for a simple cheap motel

Stay here if you want to get a staff infection. Foul smelling, filth dripping down the wall. Smoke alarm beeping loud in the next room. Wifi signal will not reach room. I am not picky at all, but this place needs a wrecking ball

I rented a basic room to shower and get sleep but apon entering the room the first thing I see is three huge burn holes on the pillow (non smoking hotel) fithy and stained definitely unwashed blankets/linens. Cigarette butts and other paper under the bed and the bathroom was horrendous. Certainly not worth $80!

With the price of my stay they should at less have everything a room should have my trip was business they had no iron, office was closed do to short staffing. This place need to be CLOSED DOWN theirs pricing is different when checking in the room is clean that's it

Got into my room only to discover that the bed linens had not been changed from the previous guest (s). I imagine the rest of the room will be as neglected. I requested another room and then discovered the internet was also down. I went to the front desk to demand a full refund! Icy and dangerous parking lot should have been my first clue. Stay far and clear of this dive. I wouldn't let my dog stay here! America's Best Value?

If I could give less than one star I would’ve. I didn’t think anything could be much worse than larger city motel 6 but this takes the cake. Had to bring ALL valuables into the room and still questioned it. Surprised I woke up alive with the way the crack heads were screaming all night banging on doors. 10/10 would never recommend or stay here again.

Do not stay here. Overpriced and super sketchy. Internet doesn't work and neither did their payment system, in person or online. Save your time, energy and money by going to any other hotel in town.
