The staff were helpful and courteous during both the pick-up and drop-off of my rental car. I would rent from Avis in the future.

One of the worst car rental experiences ever. What else possibly could have gone wrong? !? ! The car was damaged - rear door was dented and scraped and the windshield had significant rock damage. The rental was prepaid and an additional charge was added upon the return which confused me so I called the customer service line and was greeting by a rep who appeared unable to understand my question/concern or was simply poorly trained. The desk failed to explain how to conduct an after-hours return and repeated calls to the Bozeman airport Avis desk flipped to a general line. Just disappointing from beginning to end. Avis - you can do better.

Long counter wait time to receive the vehicle. Vehicle interior was pretty dirty but no actual trash inside. Also had low tire pressure in one tire that required frequent airing.

The process at the Bozeman airport was smooth and well organized. Desk help was quick and helpful and thorough. Whole process was pleasant and the car was great!

Staff on both pickup and drop off weer extremely helpful.vehicle was mostly clean and fueled.only issue would be that the windows were pretty dirty and we had to clean them for saftey purposes.otherwise ok, i would rent again

Workers steal your things if accidentally left in your rental. We realized we left our high dollar binoculars in our rental a few hours after we dropped it off. I called the location immediately. No answer and the automated service hung up on me. I proceeded to call 50 times for the next 9 days and no one ever answered me. I called Avis customer service many times and they reached out on my behalf. I emailed Bozeman Airport customer service. No one could get ahold of this location. This location does not participate in the global Avis Lost and Found program online (don’t believe me, go check for yourself) - I could not file an online report, I could not file a report on the phone. Nothing. Eventually, someone from the location called me back (while I was at work) and left a message that they didn’t find my binoculars. Absolutely disgusting that their employees just steal things from vehicles and have no character to turn the items in and try and return them to the owner. Beware of checking your car numerous times before you turn it in because you will never ever see your items again.

Beware of where you park when returning a vehicle if you are unfamiliar with the garage. If you inadvertently park the vehicle 30 feet from where it is supposed to be, turn in the key and paperwork with the return slot clearly written on it, these folks make no effort to find it. Management and agents just say the fault is yours and charge days of extra rental.

Just had a chance to look through a bunch of reviews from the last few months. There sure seems to be a pattern of filthy vehicles, poor maintenance issues and extra charges that seem to be fraudulent.

Contacted American Express to report fraud.

The queue to pick up the car was long, even though there were 4 people working at the Avis office. We booked a full size (Toyota Camry or similar) but received an SUV - Chevrolet Tranverse. We were afraid that it would be a gas guzzler, but we were positively surprised! This change made our 2,000-mile trip very comfortable and safe.

After years of being a preferred member and renting a car in Bozeman three times this year alone I was charged a $200 fee for the “return” of the car in good condition. If I wanted to pay this fee I would have gotten the insurance! Upon my next rental it was even crazier and the car was dirty when I picked up a luxury SUV!

Checking out and checking in was a breeze. My only complaint is the car itself.it prompted me to air up the tires for several days, which I did (even though ALL the tires had the same air pressure) - no tire gauge in the car (glove compt or console).
Additionally, I had paid for the rental in FULL, weeks before our trip.and I understand the incidental deposit - but $250, in addition? Geeze!
The check out from Jackson was so-so, dude wasn't clear and I am glad I'm a regular Avis user. Checkout and folks in Bozeman - stellar! Kudos to Bozeman Avis.

Second time renting with Avis in Bozeman and the truck was absolutely filthy! Found so many personal items, garbage and dog hair everywhere! Had to do an extensive search for sons keys and found clothing, a lap top, every door well was full of garbage etc.

My keys and rental agreement was ready for me upon arrival in an envelope. It was handed to me and I was off. No additional paperwork or counter time needed. Very fast and friendly.

Everything was good. I was lucky, there was no waiting line when I was picking the car, but after return I saw a long queue at Avis counter. The car I got was fine, a bit worn but without problems

Even after pre-check in online I still stood in line at the Bozeman airport for about 30 minutes and the suv they gave me had a cracked windshield. Low engine oil light came on before we backed out of the parking space and it was extremely dirty on the exterior. We went back to check in counter and after another long wait we were given another suv and told to go find it in the parking deck. They didn’t know what space. “Toot the horn “ until you find it. This vehicle had a cracked windshield also with dents and scrapes in numerous places. We went with it anyway by this point. The windshield was so dirty on the inside you could barely see through it when the sun was shining against it. Probably never going to use Avis again unless they refund some of the ridiculous amount we paid to begin with. Totally unacceptable.

Preferred status was entered on my reservation. Nobody was there upon return with no clear instruction. Could not log in on the app. Left car with keys. Hoping for the best

Bozeman airport Avis pickup and drop off are super easy and seamless. Our vehicle was exactly what we needed to drive comfortably through Yellowstone and the surrounding areas.
