Backcountry Burger Bar reviews
14Fantastic experience at Backcountry Burger! Great bison burger and stellar fries and sauce. Went in the day after Christmas and the restaurant was slammed, but the minimal staff working that day took it in stride and did a great job getting everyone their food as fast as possible. Would absolutely recommend!
The burgers were okay, a bit bland, and the french fries were severely over-salted. I asked for the wifi password twice and was never given it.
Great food, lovely service, and man it is just a beautiful building. But wow the music does not match the service. Loud, repetitive, and clashes with the overall experience.
This place! Great service food and bevs.the french onion was 2die4. I did make the suggestion that they add the onion strings on top to their menu cuz that was *chefs kiss *
I've never been treated worse at a restaurant. Ordered small and large salad. Both came out as the same size - small. (Our table included a former employee who confirmed both small salads). We asked the server about it and she visually saw they were identical and she just said "oh i told the kitchen large" and then didn't do anything.which was fine we were happy to take the small. Then the check came and we were charged for the larger salad (2x the small cost) so we very nicely asked if the server could double check that. Then the owner came over and started an incredibly rude speech, belittling us, accusing us of ripping off his "hard work", and never even asked for clarification about what happened. I have literally never been spoken to like that by any human ever. Used to go here often, never again.
High quality food and friendly service. The bison burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were delicious. I would come back here, again. Thanks for providing an online ordering through Chow Now. I am a foodie and love my bison burgers.
We had dinner here after the town holiday stroll. Our server, Margaret, was fantastic. She was so pleasant and gave us great recommendations regarding the menu.
If you like a beyond burger or burnt red meat, then disregard my review. I like medium rare to rare meat for all burgers. Backcountry Burger Bar is a burger joint that will not cook anything less than medium well. In my opinion, that is unacceptable and animal cruelty. The service was good and the atmosphere is nice, however, I will not be going back due to overcooking all red meat.
Amanda was a great server and the food was AWESOME! Some of the best food I've eaten in a while!
Food: Overall good! The Clamity Jane was the best. Food came out very quickly and burgers were hot. Onion straws were cold but were addicting after munching down. Especially with backcountry sauce!
Service: Friendly and attentive. Got a seat quickly too which is a plus!
Atmosphere: Booths are spacious and comfy, but overall restaurant is fairly small so wouldn’t be ideal if it were a busy night.
Excellent choices from small but curated menu. Good portion sizes with quick and friendly service.
This was a good burger spot on Main Street. All of the food was really good and the place had a good vibe.
I can't say enough, there are no words: BEST BURGERS EVER. Try the fries, you have to.
Had the Bison Burger, the Maria. Was good but the fries that accompanied the Burger were NOT Hot. The Brussel Sprout appetizer was unique and tasty. Over all, we give it a solid 4.5.
Our server, Sam, was very attentive.
