Beargrass Lodging and RV Resort, Hungry Horse MT

We stayed here for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. We were exhausted and fell into the most comfortable beds and felt instantly better! Staff were friendly, room was clean, beds comfortable and neighborhood quiet. Great location close to many fun things to do. My only complaint was that there was no table and chairs to work at.

We were 2 trailers traveling together. We got the far end spots so not much noise from the park but some noise from the local neighbors. The owners were very friendly and he directed us into our spots. There are lots of trees. Verizon coverage was good. They provided some touristy guidance. Laundry & showers were in great shape and clean. The spots were all on grass and level.

Really enjoyed staying in a "log" cabin at this location. 2 king size beds, full kitchen, and everything else you need. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in bathroom. Very clean! Beds and pillows were comfortable, beds were just a bit noisy due to the wooden bed frame.

We didn't get to use the heated pool, but they have one. Ice and laundry available. All rooms are ground level. Check in was smooth as well as check out. The office has a great little gift shop and maps of Glacier NP for free. About 15 mins from the West Glacier entrance, then another hour or so to Logan Pass.

Would stay again!

Duane and his staff were incredibly helpful and thorough. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in the area! I was there for a week, and it was a very enjoyable experience. Clean facilities, newly renovated bathrooms, swimming pool, disc golf baskets, and walking distance from two Huckleberry havens!

One of the cleanest hotels I've ever checked into. The reception was perfect, our room was in pristine condition, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable! The location has a pool room and a laundry facility. It is also within walking distance of the Huckleberry House. If you are hiking Glacier the main office has bear spray for rent. Would highly recommend!

Very nice RV park with full hookups, albeit the campers are kind of close together it is still nice, and there are areas for tent camping also. Very clean, centrally located between GNP and Kalispell in the nice small town of Hungry Horse. They have a nice store should you need any necessities, gifts, drinks etc. Laundry facility and large ice machine for your convenience and a nice heated pool for you and the kiddos to have some splash fun. Next to the park are two Huckleberry stores with gifts, ice cream, food and everything Huckleberry. All in all I'd say it's a nice place for RV's as long as you don't mind close quarters.

We stayed in their new Hideaway 2 bedroom unit and they are such amazing spaces. Everything was brand new and clean, as well as very nicely furnished. The pictures online really didn’t do the space justice and the bar is set so high now we will never find a National park site we like as much! It was a super quick drive to the West Glacier entrance and was a nice break to have cell phone service and wifi (unlike in the park). There are plenty of restaurants less than 10 minutes away and large kitchens to make your own food. The beds were all really comfortable and the bathroom spacious, as well. If we weren’t headed to a different national park each year, we would be scrambling to reserve this space each year.

Stayed two nights at Beargrass in July 2022. The rooms are super clean and beddings are super comfortable. I read some reviews saying that the water was kind of funny. That was not true. The water at Beargrass is great and we also bottled some water from the natural spring down the road (Highway 2), which tastes fantastic. Staff are very nice. My daughter left behind her comfort hare and they repeatedly called us (we were in some spots without signal) and sent the toy right back to us. Thanks.

Honestly, the best and most comfortable stay on our entire trip. Owner is always taking care of the property. Clean, safe, level, and in a nice quiet town close to Glacier.

Wonderful place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. Thank you for the great information given to get around the park. Definitely would stay here again when visiting Glacier again!

Fabulous quaint little campground with
25 tree lined grass sites, all new electric/water/sewer hook-ups, right off Hwy 2, next to the Gateway to Glacier bike path, down the block from the famous Huckleberry Patch and just a few miles south of Glacier.

Well kept bathrooms and showers right next to very clean small pool area.

We will definitely return for another visit!

The cabin we had was very clean and comfortable, it has a kitchenette that had mostly everything. The BBQ provided for public use looked fairly new and clean, it takes a bit of time to start. The owners were friendly and spent time answering our questions about the park.

My friends are staying here. It's a beautiful little resort style RV site with all the hook ups. Close to glacier and the Flathead valley. A great quiet place to stay here while traveling. Beautiful.

Beautiful place to stay and right in the heart of Glacier country. It's in the mountains, along the river and still close enough to the city for convenience.

This was a spontaneous, one-night stay so we were not expecting anything nice. We were very pleasantly surprised by the level of care that went into the maintenance of this place! SO CLEAN!

Loved this place. It was cozy, convenient and comfortable. We stayed there during off season so prices were good. The pictures were spot on. Parking is convenient. Dwayne was friendly and knowledgeable. Heating and cooling worked marvelously. Would stay here again

Duane, is a wonderful host. With excellent accommodations, and great recommendations. My room was well equipped, modern and very clean. The parking lot was easy to navigate. The grounds were Emaculate! The property is very close to Glacier National Park. I look forward to coming back, and I will definitely tell others of this hidden gem.
