Best Western Golden Prairie Inn & Suites, Sidney MT

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Neighborhood seems like a safe area. Would definitely stay again.

I will start with, the only reason this hotel is getting 2 stars instead of one if because of how polite, apologetic, and customer oriented the front desk lady was at check in. When I made the reservation I was told my room would have a pull out sofa. When we arrived, we were informed that none of the rooms at this location have pull out sofas. Ended up changing our room to a 2 queen instead of king and sleeper sofa. Rooms appeared clean upon arrival, The bathroom was a different story. Door shows severe water damage. There was hair in the towels and hair in the shower stuck to the wall above the tile. The breakfast food was gross, I've stayed in many hotels and motels and this breakfast was probably the worst quality food I've had, I threw away more than half my plate. The Keurig in the room would not work properly. The windows are thin/low quality and if you're facing the bar or parking lot you will hear people and cars. We picked this hotel because it had the best reviews in the area, it was a mistake.

REPLY TO MNGR Response: I absolutely told you about the noise and the hair in the bathroom. Upon checkout it was early morning and I had just drove 13 hrs the night before and due to the noise we mentioned we slept horrible, so we may not have mentioned every detail to you. The workers should have notes in your computer system for what they fixed upon checking in. If we are tired and slept poorly I probably did fail to tell you the breakfast wasn't up to par. Thanks for the response and hopefully you can use the feedback to help other guests.

Staff: so friendly! The evening check in (Rachel) and morning check out (Stacey) employees were great.
Room: clean, huge ceilings, roomy, comfy beds & pillows, quiet.
If I had to complain, I'd say wifi wasn't the fastest and the tub didn't hold water but when the front desk was informed they said they work on it.
Amenities: we were told Right away that their pool and hot tub were closed at this time for annual maintenance. I loved the honesty. I've been many places where they did not tell you this until you'd already paid for your room. And they were "welcome cookies" when you first checked in in the afternoon!
Exercise room was great.
Breakfast: There is no better! You've never seen such a beautiful spread. There was a menu that let you know what the offerings would be in the morning because they rotate. What a wonderful idea.
The day we were there was bacon, sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, ham cheese and egg sandwiches.
Cold offerings were cottage cheese, yogurt, cereal, toast, bagels, fruits.
It was clean and topped up and just incredible.
I was the happiest traveler you've ever seen.
I will be back!

Canceled reservation due to hot tub and pool both not working. It should be posted when making reservations. The hotel looked great as well as the hotel check in lady was very nice.

We had such an amazing experience at this hotel.consistently 10/10. Excellent customer service, lovely spacious rooms, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Great pool and hot tub, again lovely and clean. The complimentary breakfast was actual real food. Real eggs, not powdered, whatever those are. Real potatoes for their hash browns, a variety of yogurts, salsa for the eggs. Just a lot of little things that made them shine in the customer service, with their attention to detail. A lovely experience and can’t recommend enough! And to boot the price point was excellent compared to the other 4 nights in the states! Well done BWGP!
