Never have had a bad experience here. Doc calderwood did my cataract surgery I have breakthrough vision now. All office staff, support staff are very friendly and welcoming. Calderwood is one of the top eye surgeons in the state. I give them a plus 10 rating.

Dr. Calderwood creates a systematic process to ensure testing and results for me, as Glaucoma can be a serious eye disease, if not scheduled for continued eye appointments with an ophthalmologist.

I arrived at my check in time and was greeted by a kind and efficient staff. My initial evaluation was with a very nice gentleman and I am sorry I can’t recall his name because he was knowledgeable and happy to educate me. Great asset to this practice. Dr Calderwood himself was wonderful and the entire process was a very stress free experience. At check out I experienced the same efficiency and caring. It was a great experience!

Dr. Calderwood is the best. I have been seeing him for a long time and have found him to be an amazing physician! He is caring and kind!

Staff is pleasant, competent and efficient. Equipment assists with thorough eye exams. Dr Calderwood is plain-speaking, direct and to the point - just what I appreciate! His advice is sound and he doesn’t recommend costly vitamins or products. He talks about diet changes for eye health. He’s a keeper!

I called with concerns about changes in my right eye that had occurred 8 days previously and persisted. The staff scheduled me for an appt. @ 2pm that same afternoon. I saw Dr Calderwood & yes - indeed something had happened (aging eye) but I was not going to lose my eyesight and do not need treatment. I thank them all for their caring and professional service. Doctor Alonzo. Was very kind and helped to ease worriesor concerns about have cataract surgery. He even called me in the evening following both surgeries. His entire staff was very helpful getting me in the office quickly and promptly for appointments, even once when I didn't have an appointment. Will definitely recommend them.

DeeAnn made me feel comfortable and gave me options regarding my exam since I was returning to work. Dr. Alonzo answered all my questions and took his time. You can tell that the people who work here, from the front desk to the techs and doctors, really care about their patients.

When I called and asked them if they were in my network and accept my insurance they said they did. When we arrived for our appointments the man at the desk confirmed that they accepted it and we were in network. Then we received bills and when we called we were told it was a mistake and we owed them. When we talked to billing they informed me they would look into it. No response from billing but we received bills telling us to pay. Unacceptable that they don’t know who they accept and who they don’t.

I’ve been coming to Dr Calderwood for
nearly ten years now. Everyone in the office, from the front office staff to the technicians to Dr Calderwood himself is friendly, efficient, and very good at their jobs. He considers your entire health picture when doing his evaluation, and his advice takes everything into account. I recommend him highly.
