Botts Family Motel, Joliet Montana

What a wonderful family owned motel. Unfortunately we could only stay one night because of previous plans or we would have. Very clean and inviting with lots of room, and the beds were very comfortable. We walked to the 212 bar and grill just down the road for a very tasty dinner. Next time we plan on spending a few more relaxing days here!

My girlfriend and I stayed here last week on our way down the pass. Nice place to stay, good prices, and the room was exceptionally clean. The on-site staff (Short, sweet gal- Sam maybe?) was awesome and were waiting for us when we arrived late to show us to the room. Did I mention the room was SO clean? Whoever cleans this place is a magician! You just don't see places like this anymore, not to mention that immaculate! Pics from my iphone 14 dont do it justice btw.

100% absolutely impressed! This family business should get your business if you are in town. Owners on the phone were polite and amazing. Small town, peaceful and quiet. When we walked into the room we were stunned. The price was so reasonable and economical I was a bit worried. But once I walked in I couldn’t believe the amazing deal! They have recliner chairs by the television to relax in, the television is a large screen (so you can actually see it), a large fridge, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Absolutely amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone and it would be a great place for a couple day stay, not too far from red lodge and the ski areas. Beautifully decorated rooms. Cozy, cute, clean, affordable…you cannot beat it!

We had a cozy 3 day stay in Joliet MT at the Botts Motel. The decor was very homey, clean, and accommodating. Thank you for pleasant stay.

Found this place by chance after riding for 12hrs headed for bearthooth pass. Checked in at 8pm the owners greeted me with a huge smile. The rooms were immaculate, full kitchen, laundry cheap it cost I think 4.00 to do 2 loads was a welcome site I would definitely recommend this place. Gonna schedule a stay next yr for my westward ride again.

So, I booked this by phone kind of last minute for a short overnight stay. I wasn’t expecting much quite honestly. I was just expecting an ok place to grab a shower and catch a few hours sleep. Boy! Was I surprised! Very nice place! Comfortable beds and very clean. I would stay there again and highly recommend to anyone!

Loved our stay in this sweet little town! Clean and spacious room. We were made to feel right at home. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we meet!

The room was large, very comfortable, and very clean. It was quiet and relaxing. We stayed for a couple of nights and there was a nice size refrigerator (a small kitchen fridge, not a mini fridge size) microwave, and table with chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

Traveling on our way from North Dakota to Yellowstone, needed a place to stay last minute. Nice lady on phone ran my card and told us the room number 3 hours out. Rolled in at around 10PM and we’re delighted to see a cozy and clean space.

Love these type of “mom and pop” style motels in small town America.

I met the owners up on top of bear tooth pass and talked to them for a while. Extremely nice and friendly people. Took a lot of pride in their motel.

I went to MT on a solo fishing outing as I have many times over the years. Each year I try to go to a new area. This year I went to the Joliet / Columbus area. I stayed for 8 nights, and traveling alone, the kitchenette set up was perfect for me. I had to bring nothing from WI. Everything was there. Dishes, pots/pans, silverware, stove/oven, full size fridge, programmable coffee pot, washcloths/towels (both bath and kitchen), very comfortable bed, big TV, EVERYTHING. Also a laundry room on the premises. The owners are very personable. I would definitely recommend this facility to anybody traveling in the area. I know that if I ever return to that area I will be giving them a call.

This has been the BEST motel I have ever stayed at! We had a double queen room and it was bigger than most hotel rooms! It has a small “living room” space with three comfortable chairs, a big flat screen smart TV (they also have direct tv) and a side table with a lamp! There is a kitchen space with a full sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker and table with chairs. The bathroom is spacious with a closet space for hanging clothes. The western style decor makes the room feel homey and the bedding is the best bedding I have ever seen in a motel/hotel! The bedding is super soft and the mattresses and pillows are super comfortable! The staff is friendly and checked us in super fast. VERY reasonable prices! I can’t say enough good things about this place! This will be our go to place every time we come to the area!
