Branding Iron Lanes & Lounge, Conrad MT

K so here's the deal.
Pros: Waitress was really cool and nice.
Drinks were strong and fast.
The cookies they make are life.
Cons: Eat before you go cause that wait is no joke! The food was cold and kinda gross.

In short I recommend drinking there and having a delicious ready made treat like a cookie or cinnamon roll.

Excellent steaks and cocktails! Good assortment of beers. Excellent, friendly service! A must visit place!

I gave it four stars simply because the staff is always very nice! But, unfortunately I haven’t been impressed with the food the last two times I have ordered out. The first time I ordered Buffalo chicken, there was no sauce and I’d there was it was bland and the wings were not even crispy. The second time I ordered a crispy chicken salad, the lettuce was extremely disappointing and the chicken was most certainly NOT CRISPY. It was mushy. I ordered my daughter chicken strips and yet again they were soooo mushy and floppy it was gross. The poppers aren’t what I expected! I like that they are “homemade” but the were so greasy and mushy as well. The only good thing about my “meal” was probably the monster cookie.

Lanes seemed not to be level. Had to walk through a bar with cussing people. Great to have lanes in such a remote area, though.

Excellent food and service (even during a busy time). Loved the fry sauce and fries. Wonderful atmosphere.

Just had supper at the Branding Iron. It was really good! We had burgers and fries but the menu included many traditional dinners nightly specials. We finished our meals off with a generous serving of quality ice cream with toppings. Reasonable pricing means we will definitely stop there again!

This is a gem of a place! A hidden gem we were so fortunate to stumble upon. The prime rib was superb and let me tell you about the Monterey chicken. We had some very delicious Parmesan garlic chicken wings and shrimp too! The waitress was so sweet, even tho she was the only server on and was swamped! She really did a great job! Yea, the service was a bit slow, but as soon as the 2nd waitress arrived, things got better! It didn’t matter because the company was good! Great food! Great staff! Kudos to the chefs! We will be back because we’ve discovered a GEM!

Understaffed slow service and food took forever. Everything was cold when we got it. We just could not wait to l, did not even wait for the desert we paid for!

The most EXCELLENT steaks in western Montana. I live in Great Falls and the food, people and atmosphere are more than worth the short drive to Conrad. Busy place, but friendly staff and patrons. Down home cooking at its finest! Make sure to go to dinner early on prime rib night because the restaurant is hopping during that time! Great service and food, my new steak fave since moving back home!

Best best best food and drinks in town! So die home friendly and personable! The owners and staff truly care about their customers and appreciate feedback! I’ll be back over and over and over!

New Years Eve dinner was wonderful and so were the drinks and company afterwards. Staff was so busy and so friendly!

I love this place because the waiter says in the staff are so amazingly good. The food is awesome and cooked really well. It is a really fun place to go if you are in Conrad it is very nostalgic. Comforting. I highly recommend

The waitress was friendly and the buffalo burger was great. The fries were the only thing lacking.

Ate there about 3 months ago for dinner. I hadn't been on a date with my husband for a very long time, and was super excited to try the food! I had my 14 month old daughter with me while we waited for daddy to get off work. I sat there with my kid for 45min, before my husband arrived, without as much as a 'helloo' from the server. She was too busy on the phone. After he arrived, it took about a half an our for her to take our order. It took another 45min to an hour to get our food, and it was cold and bland. Very disappointing, sad to say. The bar is great tho!
