Brush Lake State Park, Dagmar MT

They removed the trash cans now there is trash everywhere. The bathrooms are horrendous.

Simple little campground in Eastern Montana with great sky views. No shade, no running water, two pit toilets, electric sites, one water pump that can be attached to a hose for filling a fresh water tank. It would be great if each site had a sun shelter over the picnic table. But, the sites look out on a small lake, and it was fabulous watching a storm roll in and the rainbow that followed. Basic camping, with great views. Four stars instead of five because of the lack of shade.

I was there to do some Astrophotography, and it was great. Not a completely "dark site", but much darker than where I live. Could see the band of the Milky Way clearly. Storm was working it's way in the night I was there, so the atmosphere was thick. I think that also made the skies a little lighter. Clear unobstructed views of all the quadrants.

The small campground (I think 12 sites) was very nice. Electrical hook ups at each site with a picnic table and fire ring. Room to park your camper and vehicle. Plenty of room for tents. Very nicely laid out. Large sites. I did not explore the lake, as it was night time. There are a couple of day use areas around the lake as well as a boat ramp.

I will definitely be going back there for more astrophotography.

This has been a northeast Montana secret for generations. The lake remains at a constant level and is clear water. Good for boating and doing. Enjoy the wide open spaces, but don't tell anybody about it.

Super nice way cleaner water then other lakes in the area! Will definitely be comeing back again!

Just on weekdays enjoy the beauty of this lake! I liked when you reach there no network service so really enjoy your time, clean water nice for swimming and have fun with kids

Boat ramp was really crowded. Lake was nice and clean.
