Restaurant Campione reviews
18We were able to join them for a guest chef week. I had perogies! The service was great! So friendly.
I almost hate to review Campione because it is so popular already that it is no longer a local's secret! This place is our go to for special evenings out and a nice intimate dinner when we need to unwind over some pasta and some vino. Every single staff member at Campione treats us with a welcoming smile and that sets the tone for the experience. The linguine and meatballs are perfection and the lamb ragu is also very good. The menu rotates enough to keep things interesting and it is always a pleasure to taste the fun and creative offerings. Always a great meal.
Really delicious and refined dining experience in Livingston. They do book out so reservations recommended. The Ragu pasta was wonderful.
We were recommended this place by a friend of my son’s. Walked in without a reservation and were greeted so kindly! Enjoyed a seat at the bar and had one of the best meals ever! (Tip, when you sit at the bar, you get to watch the meals getting prepared)
The staff are welcoming and so friendly! Thank you for the top off to an already wonderful day with our son.
Everything we've had has been delightful. The space is comfortable and modern yet classic.
Dinner and service was excellent. The berry, wine, mint sorbeto dairy free dessert made my night. Thanks again for making a nice date night with me and my sweetheart.
When we made the reservation 3 weeks in advanced for my birthday (2/14) we mentioned we had our two children with us and the hostess said that wouldn't be a problem- they had one reservation left to fit us at the bar however, they made no mention of the $70 per person, the set menu we had to order from, and gratuity charge. We ended up leaving without eating. I’m sure it was all delicious but we planned for a meal that we were not going to be served that night, which was disappointing to say the least. Had I known the details of the evening the restaurant had planned I would have simply made reservations somewhere else and been back to eat a different time, instead we had to go to the first place that had enough room for us.
Just a spectacular place. The food is delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere is cozy. Can’t recommend enough. It's the kind of place that is so good you don't want everyone to know about it.:)
Huge fan of this place. Every dish, salad, appetizer, main and dessert were amazing. The dishes were well thought out, full of intention and amazing flavor combinations. The staff was friendly and very on it too!
I hesitate to give this review because I always want to be able to get a table. Best food in Livingston. Jeff and his crew run the place like a well oiled machine. Order anything Chef Pat wants to cook for you! The only restaurant I take mamma to! Love the vinyl records always playing.
This place is amazing! The food is fantastic. Some of the best meals I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is also so lovely. ️ And the staff is incredible. Go check it out now!
EXCELLENT! This is a must enjoy experience. Jeff and his team have literally "opened up" to the Guest with a perfectly appropriated Livingston, MT gem!
We walked in to a very gentle but vibrant full house. We had reservations * (on a Wednesday so I'd call ahead) and decided on a nook at the bar top. Restaurant nerd alert: THE BARTENDERS ARE FORMER SERVERS! WHEN IN DOUBT, SIT WITH THE BEST AT THE BAR! *
From the well presented menu to the constant but subtle interactions with staff, they have nailed it. Exposing a kitchen in this industry is very brave but they pull it off!
OK the FOOD. We had the smoked cauliflower appetizer with side Arugala salads. Amazing! Simple, delicate and spot on.
My bride * (Celiacs and Gluten Free) had Branzino Fish that I also sampled. I had never had Bronzino and was surprised! It was amazing!
My entree was Linguine with Meatballs. Montana Beef n Pork balls n sauce. Delightful!
Oh! DONT FORGET CHEESCAKE FOR DESSERT!
Great job guys! We will be back as long as you will have us!
Thank you!
OMG! The food, service and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic. I always know when a menu is great when I can't decide what to get because it all sounds amazing. Can't wait to go back.
This place is absolutely perfect! I didn't take pictures because I was so focused on enjoying every little detail of the dinner. Good food, good people and good prices. You must try the cheesecake.
Very pleasant staff. Nice ambience. Long wait for a reservation, until we realized this is simply because the space has so few tables. The lamb ragout tasted like the linguine with meatballs, the trout was bland at best, and the fritto misto was overpowered by the cornmeal that coated most everything. Pretty sure whoever wrote that this deserves a michelin star needs a head scan, but for Livingston it’s a quiet, dim, warm restaurant for a filling but forgettable meal.
I’ve gotten to eat here a couple of times now and every time the food is incredible. I’ve had a hard time finding vegetarian meals in MT and Campione has so many options and offers accommodations on many of their menu items. The staff are friendly, professional, and great at their job. The owners take a personal interest and are present in their business. This all means that the food is delicious, soul warming, and presented with delicate artistic finesse. Highly recommend anyone eat here if their in the area.
Came for dinner, amazing made from scratch cuisine at a fair price. The staff was knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, and attentive. Do yourself a favor and save room for the gelato!
Always always, always excellent. I enjoy this place every time. While every chef inspired dish meets my criteria for culinary happiness, Cappione may not appeal to all. 1) not a place for kids menu and venue wise. 2) Modest Menu by American standards but filled with diversity and delight. 3) Savory focused, nothing fried or box made. 4) smaller tables and chairs. Polar opposite of the rib n chop, which I enjoy at times as well. Enjoy
