Fun year round. County maintained green space with attached playground and summer season splash pad. No dogs. Third of July Gathering site. Kid's Summer feeding point. Check the schedule for dates? Traditional sledding hill, with varying steepness. (BTW, the fence on the road is yer friend.) Park at the bottom of the hill; the top parking is for the clinics and hospital.

A nice local park, some of the local kids that attend it need better parenting. While visiting it with my family, a girl decided to not-too-surreptitiously relieve her bladder behind one of the half-dozen trees in the grassy field.

Outta all the parks in butte by far its one of the best. It's well maintained. There's playground equipment, a small splash park, and the hill is great for taking your kids sledding. It's right next to st James hospital so it's super easy to find. It's on the west side of the building. It's pretty decent sized too so plenty of space for activities.

My 2 year old gets to play here literally by herself most of the time we are there. Its a nice quiet park. Love it

A small park with limited facilities, but decent nonetheless. A cute water park for small kids as well.

It's a park! Splash pool open. Nice kids play area. Picnic tables to rest and?
Safe area, well kept neighborhood.

Fun park, sparse shade for the summer but nice grass and rolling hills for the winter. I didn't see any public restrooms, but they do have a splash pad

Great little park for kids and family gatherings. Will be going to a festival and watching fireworks from this park and it seems to be a great location for both!

Nice well kept park right next to St. James Hospital. Worked well as my daughter had much to do re the passing of her husband (my son in law). I kept my grandsons 6 & 4 yrs busy playing everything from swings, slides, climbing "rocks", monkey bars & large multi item play set. All surrounded by a smaller size gravel (better then wood chips I think) & a beautiful lawn. The only thing I would like to see is picnic tables, benches or both for adults to sit & set drinks etc. Otherwise nicely done!

Had a great time watching our grandson sledding down the hill at the park. The wind was gusting pretty good, but that didn't discourage Noah. He is quite a trooper! Chester Steele Park is a very nice park that is well maintained. I recommend taking your children and grandchildren to play at this park that sits just west of St. James Hospital.

Great park for sledding in the winter. Also a great place to watch July 3rd fireworks show.

My kiddo had a blast here! I'm just bummed we have to play across the street with our puppy.

Looks like a real safe place for your children play. Reminds me of the playground of my youth.

Nice park and splashpark but it could use some benches by the playground for parents. Also the surrounding sidewalk is used by several people at the hospital and surrounding businesses as a means of exercise during the workday so a sidewalk on the west side of the park would be great!

Mini water park for 5yrs. And under. Lots of grassy area, couples picnic, relaxing in the sun or waiting for visiting hours at St. James Healthcare located directly behind the park. Public restooms a plus. 4 stars even though the park lacks shade trees. Nice place.
