Chinaman Cove Campground, Helena MT

Terrible experience!
** UPDATE! It has been a month since asking for a refund and still not a single word. Called the website I issued the refund through they said "it's still pending you need to call the campground manager which is the department of reclamation in Montana and was given the phone number the website has on file for them which is the same phone number I have called in the past. Will be giving them at 2 days to call me back or will be going other routes*

Made reservations and got there a little after "check in time" and there was someone in our spot. Went to the host site and no one there. People with their cars out in the road making it hard to get through with our tiny camper.
The sites are TINY, no privacy what so ever, and dogs were off leash. I traveled 6 hours to this spot and had nowhere to go. Now waiting for a refund.

Spot 36 is big, though high traffic to the vault restroom, fire pit is a bit far from camper parking, minimal shade, but the best thing is: No Mosquitoes!

Pictures on the web page are false. Campground 'hosts' were either too scared or too lazy to handle the people blaring music until 4 am. This site is useless unless you want to blare music until 4am. Waste of time and money unless you don't have any respect for your job and other campers. Party on here SMH.

Camp host is a great guy. One of the best we’ve encountered. We tent camp and love this campground for the bluffs, trees, beach, and calm cove for kayaking and paddling
