City Brew Coffee, Bozeman MT

It's basically Starbucks. The coffee is meh and overpriced, but the service is fast and the atmosphere is pleasant. Lots of comfy private nooks for studying. It's quite generic, but solidly so.

I asked for a grande coffee, extra hot with no foam. When she handed it to me, I specifically asked her if it was a 20 ounce and she said yes. I certainly got charged for a 20 ounce. However, it didn't look right, so when I got back to my office I compared it to a cup that I got earlier in the day from a different coffee place. The pictures tell the rest of the story. I had to warm it up when I got back to my office so that I didn't have to drink cold coffee. I won't be using city brew unless I absolutely have to from now on. There are plenty of other places to get coffee. And I get a lot.

Opening time is not opening time. The sign says 5: 30 but the young lady inside says "maybe 6. "

Awful location to come to with quick service. Painfully slow and it happens often. Had to wait in line for 20 minutes for a coffee. Will never go here again.

The coffees and baked goods we ordered was so good. I don't think they pour enough espresso in my hot latte, but they fixed it real quick. Thanks for providing good coffee and nice coffeeshop set up.

I wish they had white coffee. Guess I can't have everything for some reason I had a coconut caramel frappe and my husband had a sugar free blended mocha. They were both good. The service was just okay.

When I first walked in this was not my impression, I was thinking to myself it looks just like Starbucks. I only got the blueberry muffin and it's the best muffin I've ever had from a coffee shop, it's so big and moist. I expected it to be dry like most Starbucks bakery items. It's not, 10/10

Got a local favorite iced coffee drink, and it was really good! I don't remember the name of it, though!

Ellie W, is fantastic, she is always friendly, knows our coffee order when we pull up. It's always nice to see her smiling face. She deserves a raise1

We usually like city brew but this time they filled my cup from top to bottom with ice. Which caused the ratio of coffee to milk to be off and messed up the flavor quite substantially.

If you go, just don't forget to ask for light ice.

*Update*
They definitely don't wash their spoons between drinks. I always taste huckleberry regardless of the drink I order at this location. Every other location is fine, but this one must have employees that reuse the spoons which crosses the flavors. Hopefully people with allergies will go to another City Brew in Bozeman.

As far as service goes it's usually great. The employees seem happy and cheery every time we come.

I usually love city brew! But this particular location I always have this fruity flavor in my drinks. Like they used a spoon from a huckleberry syrup to stir my drink. It's not disgusting, just makes me not as satisfied with my coffee. I'm not the only one who noticed this, my mom also noticed this happen more than once in her Bianco she likes to get. I hope they can get this figured out because otherwise the people are always friendly.

Been here several times. Breakfast food is typically good, not great. Coffee is ok, espresso is ok. Today, ordered a double espresso "for here" and a croissant. Forgot my order two times while trying to enter it. Received espresso to go. Forgot about the croissant. When I prompted they got the croissant, it was old and bready.

Horrible sausage egg whatever it was. It was a sweet bread with soggy sausage and egg. Caramel Macchiato was good but not very hot. Nice employees.

Forget Starbucks in MT. This is where you go. Always friendly staff and great service and drinks.
