Run far away the Woman working in the store is the WORST! She’s snide and the most unfriendly, unprofessional personality EVER! For a place that makes its living off of tourist especially with Yellowstone being closed in this area she needs to think twice about her career choice! And it’s SUPER expensive for that kind of service.
Unique one of a kind and one of the last old general stores from the West. Fun place with a variety of products including funny postcards and bulk chocolate candy.
We stopped here prior to entering Yellowstone to grab a few snacks for a picnic once in park. Quaint little store.
There aren't many options for groceries and fresh produce in Cooke City, but they had what we needed without overly obnoxious prices. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Nice Old Time General Store! They didn't have much but happy they had Spaghetti noodles and sauce so we didn't have to eat at the SUBPAR Miners Saloon again! The BBQ joint was good but we needed to switch it up! Much appreciated!

This Place Doesn’t Care If You Have Health Issues and Can’t Wear A Mask!
Rude Staff. My family and I did the beartooth pass and stopped in Cooke City to eat and shop like we do every year. We went into the General Store and we were approached my an employee who asked one of us to put on a face mask. We explained to him that he has severe asthma and can’t wear a mask. The employee then told him he had to leave. The mandate for Montana says if you have certain health issues you do NOT have to wear a mask! Needless to say they lost our business and will never recommend their store.
Very cool old general store. Original wood floors dating back to when it was built in the 1800's.
