Cottonwood Camp reviews
16Wonderful staff and amazing views! Very nice cabins and quiet environment! Highly recommend staying with cottonwood camp!
Great spot on the big horn. It’s perfect. Great access point, great cabins, great staff, and couldn’t speak more highly of it.
Super friendly environment, great hunting, fishing, and location. I will definitely be back here in the future!
This is a great place to stay whether you wanna hunt, fish, or just take in the view! Great rooms, very friendly and helpful staff not to mention the amazing location with the surrounding mountains and rivers. 10/10 all around!
Absolute stellar place and even better people. Made sure that we was taken care of daily. Will definitely be booking again next year!
Awesome place with a great view close to the river for hunting and fishing will definitely be back
It is a awesome experience with even better staff and people, has great hunting and fishing and the staff does a great job of helping you getting on fish or birds the accommodations are even better and easy to just come out and have a fun time with no worries would highly recommend these guys and I will always come back here 10 out of 10!
My friend and I LOVE Cottonwood Camp! It is our "go-to" for fly fishing on the Big Horn. Jacoby is top shelf. We met a guide there who has become a new life friend. Paul is a cheerful and capable worker. The cotton wood trees are stunning! We always camp in the tent area, and will return there again next summer! Our "fave" place out west!
Bathhouse is a little run down, but hey, it's a hot shower. The tents are top-notch, and the bed was amazing. Wood is provided, and the room is very clean! Would recommend it to anyone and will be coming back.
We really enjoyed our stay in the tent sites at Cottonwood Camp! Location is fantastic for river access and a really fun place to be. With new ownership the shop is now filled with snacks and a great fly fishing gear and flies. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!
We’ve come here to camp every year for about five years. We like to proximity to the river. The current owners have been making a lot of improvements to the facility and the store. We’ll be back!
This was our first experience at Cottonwood and exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were clean and the service provided from the staff was amazing. They set us up with a guide and we spent the day on Big Horn, which was a quick drive. At night, the campfire and horseshoe pit were great added touches. We also spent a day on the lake, which was amazing! I would definitely come back as the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.
They are really working hard to update and improve Cottonwood. The new fly shop/store is greatly improved especially. I don’t rent the cabins, I tow a camping trailer in, so I can’t comment about those. But what a great location.
Very pro Veterans. Used their campground and shuttle service and received great service. Looking forward to our stay in the "Condo " in a couple months.
We came back here after many years to fish the Big Horn River and stayed at the Cottonwood Camp Grounds. The campground has changed ownership since our last visit. We were pleasantly surprised that we were met in the driveway by a young man (Paul), who knew our name, introduced himself and took us to our camping spot. We met with the manager, Sgt. Jacoby, and over the next few days, talked with him at length. We were very impressed by the way he managed the camp grounds and interacted with the clients. Our conversations were very enjoyable and we look forward to our next visit.
First and foremost what a amazing camp location. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was truly memorable. SGT Jacoby the on-site manager is truly a special individual that made us feel like family. He would personally check on us daily to make sure that we had no shortcomings. He was like our personal concierge lol. My family and left this place with a full heart and will have plenty of memorable memories that we will always cherish. We can’t wait to come back! This is truly a hidden Gem. SGT Jacoby thank you and thank you for your service and for caring for our brother & sister at arms. Can’t wait to come back.
