4Incredible hike right from the git go. The Fall colors are showing up and just add to the splendor of this climb. It's a challenge but worth every step. The views from the top will make it all worthwhile.
Best trail in Whitefish. Summit house on top for water refills and you can ride the chairlift down. Moderately challenging hike with 2,000 feet of elevation gain. Spend the day here and take in the views and beauty of nature. Danny On trail was named after a silviculturist who dedicated his life to teaching the public but sadly lost his life in a skiing incident.
Danny on trail is moderate. Did it in the evening with the kids. Perfect day, it was sunny and cloudy.
What a beautiful place The view is magnificent unfortunately it was the first smell of the season so it was really cold and muddy. I can't wait until spring to try it again
