Days Inn by Wyndham Butte

There are so many codes violation from elevator inspection to fire equipment expiration of expectations by a year. As well they made changes to my booking to my room without my knowledge or permission. What I booked 3 months ago was 2 beds and they gave me 1 bed then told me that in respect we would wave the hideaway bed fee. Bad staff not safe for anyone!

Checked into my room and was immediately charged $170.00 for a $90.00 room. When questioned at the front desk I was given a piece of paper showing $142.00 charge. $50.00 incase I steal a pillow. But my credit card clearly shows a $170.00 charge that 24 hours later had not been returned. When I asked for a receipt this morning I was told they were not allowed to print receipts. After some arguing the guy gave me a copy saying I was only charged $90.00?

Buyer beware! If you sign a paper for that will charge your card for incidentals you might find charges for anything! This DaysInn in Butte charged me for damaged towels saying the were urine stained but could not provide me with any proof or send me the towels after charging my debit card $50! They said they couldn’t get the stains out. What a SCAM! Any towel worth $50 you can’t get stains out aren’t worth $50. So buyer if you are ever charged for damaged towels make sure they give you the towels you paid for!

May 2023 stay, lots of renovations completed. Great stay. Great staff. Great value. Some reno supplies stacked in hallways, but did not take away from the stay. Smelled like new carpet. Room was sharp and fully updated.

The staff especially Cash Johnson was horrible to work with. He demanded to see my service animals paperwork even after he was informed it was illegal. He then argued until I informed him that I am a Wyndham employee. He was very confrontational and threatened me. I was over charged 93.35 which makes no sense since I used rewards points and no fees or taxes are supposed to be taken out. Still waiting on Luke the manager to call me back and refund the charges.

Very dis pleased with this motel never stay there again it was ran down when called in for reservation got one answer then when we checked in another answer different to the same question been trying to get ahold of Brenda the manager for the past week and can’t seem to get an answer I wouldn’t refer this motel to any one

From the beginning it was miserable, find someplace else unless your desperate. I'm black and from the beginning I was mistreated. On the phone cash was no problem, when I got there and they noticed I'm black, Problem! First he accidentally gave my room away and had to find another, then he wouldn't take cash, now all of a sudden it wasn't accepted. My dog, a chihuahua was almost hit in the parking lot by a speeding blind driver. The people in the lobby kept giving me dirty looks, so I just told the desk guy, I'd be glad to go someplace else. He recommended motel 6.it's better, they take cash, and the desk clerk Penny is very friendly

I have never seen a filthier hotel, we arrived the front desk guy was less than helpful, the hallways were gross, the pool was closed, the room stunk. I called the reservation company and let them know that I didn’t feel safe and asked for assistance in getting a refund as we decided to leave within 20 minutes of arrival, that was the amount of time we tried to track down an ice machine. I have photos that I would love to share with corporate as I have friends who work for Wyndham and they agree that this is not their standard. Our stay was in Sept 2022, sorry for delay in posting,

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They had no hot water, the room was dirty, and had dried paint splattered everywhere. On top of that, they never returned our deposit. This place in a true scam operation. We will never again stay at any place called Days inn.

The staff was so awesome there! We had an issue, but it was taken care of very quick. Compared to some Days Inn this was a jewel. You can tell they are still updating/fixing some areas but it us a very nice place to stay. We will be back again!

Absolutely horrible. Nothing about the hotel is acceptable. We travel a lot and this was, by far, the worst motel.
Researched hotel and pictures looked great. However, when we got there it was the complete opposite of what the pictures showed.
Dust all over the lobby. Smelled like mold. Looked like a hoarders house. Questionable people (employees) in the parking lot and no adequate parking for a truck.
No pool despite advertising.
Did not stay. As a parent, it would have been irresponsible of us to allow our kids into such a dump.
Refused to refund the money even though they falsely advertised their hotel and accomodations. Had to dispute with them, which got nowhere so had to go the route of credit card dispute. Unbelievable.

The desk said I could check at 12 and house keeping beat on the door at 10 and argued with me about check out so I went to the which said 12 was ok. I really needed that last hours and a half sleep now I’m on the road with 5 hours of sleep. This happen on March 26 2023.

I did not stay here, but I’m compelled to comment after reading the reviews. Wyndham is a reputable hotel chain. Why aren’t they shutting this place down while renovating until things are up to standard? Certainly some losses could be written off somehow. I’m appalled at the comments and continued lack of consideration for the public all many levels here.

Easter weekend 2023 we stayed here. We were hesitant with several harsh reviews, but very glad we chose to stay. We had a newly renovated room, clean & a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was simple, but good. Chase the kind gentlemen actually served my husband waffles which he said were very good. Within walking distance of almost everything you could possibly want. Definetly going to stay here again! Highly recommend especially for the price. Shout out to Chase who brought me my purse when I left it behind at breakfast.

Check-in was fast and easy. The host was very pleasant. They are renovating, so some might be dissuaded by all the boxes of new items in the lobby. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast but was out of a few items due to delivery service. They were very apologetic.

Outside of our rooms on the 3rd floor had renovations but inside the room was amazing.
Beds we comfortable.
Breakfast was not suitable for people who don’t like carbs
Coffee was great
Staff was friendly

My girlfriend and I decided to give the place a chance (even after reading the reviews). Took 20 minutes for anyone to come help us. Place was almost spooky cause it seemed so quite and abandoned. Then this grumpy gentleman, probably about 45 to 50 comes out to tell us that we must be 21 to get a hotel room. Don't stay here if you want decency. Also I noticed in the reviews they were replacing the entrance and lobby was being redone 8 months ago. Made me laugh cause it still was being worked on and was far from done. Atleast I got a laugh out of that.

Do not stay here while the hotel is being renovated. I was here in January 2023 and the place was a mess. There was no mention of the remodeling on their website, otherwise we would have selected another hotel to spend the night.

Motel is under renovation, was not informed of this until arrival. Due to renovation no breakfast. Booked room through Wyndham app and payed at time I booked. Was told when I checked in the room had not been payed for. Unfortunately I booked at this hotel again for 2 days later I did the pay now no cancel booking. Will not make that mistake again.
