What an amazing experience tight lining for the first time! While I have fished many times on the Mighty Madison River, this was the first time with this style and guide. Our guide, “Dirty” Mike, was very clear on technique, patient with feedback and supportive when we hooked and netted the amazing amount of trout!

Discover Montana Outfitting is the best on the Madison. Mike took great care of us and constantly put us right on the fish. With 30 mile and hour gusts the command of the boat was second to none. Great time on the water and looking forward to our next trip.

I gust wanted say I had a great time. Although we got hammered with snow still was an awesome time. It’s was the type of hunt you will never forget, it’s been a long time coming for me.we had some great guy John an Mitch joining us. Our guide Deek was awesome anytime anything you needed something he was there along with all the other guys Curter, Hunter, cope an Owner an guid Mike.
Riding horses back into the back country the picture we took are out of this world.
The food was great an the company was even better we all laughed an had a great time. Although if your going to join mike an the gang best be in shape. When we got back to the trailhead I took one of the most breathtaking photo of the mountains covered in snow. To live that lifestyle an to be able to see the beautiful mountains every day of your life is a God sent.
