Dr. Keith D. Bortnem, DO, Great Falls MT

My total right knee replacement is a great success! I am now preparing for my left one. I fought Dr. Bortnem to be very personable and an excellent surgeon. I will continue to recommend him to anyone that needs a
"new" knee!

Dr Bortnem did a scope and repair of my knee one year ago. I found him to be respectful and understanding, cant say anything bad. I need that knee replaced now and will be contacting him again for the surgery this fall.

I will never go to Dr. Bortnem again. After I had already made the mistake of having him work on my elderly mother's knee, another previous patient gave me some good advice. "Never have Keith operate on you after lunch, because he will have drank during his lunch hour and is more likely to do a bad job with surgery. " Unbelievable, this man needs to be fired. Reading the other reviews, I cannot still believe that he is licensed to do surgery.

Dr Bortnem performed arthroscopy on my knee.the surgery was fine. I was still experiencing sharp pain several months after surgery. I went in to get a followup to see what was going on, his response "it's just going to hurt now" DID NOT EVEN EXAMINE THE KNEE TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANOTHER ISSUE! Another couple months the pain has subsided a little and Physical therapy wasn't helping much, The pain was getting worse again, this time I go into the walkin clinic, and get diagnosed with a sprained ligament. This could have been diagnosed earlier if Keith would have just taken a look at it instead of brushing it off

I had my first knee replacement done 13 years ago by Dr Bortnem. Its still working great. When I needed my other knee done I went back was treated great and got in for surgery faster than I thought. Three weeks after surgery Im feeling great therapy is going great an Im off and running.welll lol.
I would highly recommend Dr Bortnem and his team they are great!
