Ellen Theatre, Bozeman MT

The plays are amazing! The padding on the main floor seats are wore down which makes the seats somewhat uncomfortable.

A theater that represents and gives you that classic feel. Such a good time going to plays, definitely a must around the holiday season.

If you are driving downtown Bozeman. You can't help but spot the historic Ellen theatre with it's large marquee sign and show lights, it's loved by tourists and locals alike. I've always enjoyed events here. The last event was about Raven's that was very insightful and the best part Free, and incredibly interesting. It's a grand old theatre that servers alcohol among other beverages during shows. I was able to attend the Christmas carol play last year and that was outstanding! The prices were reasonable too! Nice decor throughout the building, and the seats are pretty comfortable. There is also a balcony. I was told they kept some seats from it's early beginning in the 1900's. That was several years ago, nonetheless it's a historical place that sits in the heart of Bozeman. And worth a trip inside or at the very least a show!

Went and saw the Christmas Carol it was amazing. I've never been to the Ellen Theater the atmosphere was amazing, the people that attended were very nice. I'll be going back every chance I get.

This theatre is amazing! It really brought me back to 1865 when me and my husband attended a delightful play. The setting was very similar to that night right down to the private balcony seating and everything. This show turned out better though, my husband didn't die this time, also scrooge was very well done.

Went for the first time to the Ellen Theatre to see The Christmas Carol. Really enjoyed the performance. What a beautiful old theater!

Awesome experience with this theater! Great show (we watched a Christmas carol) the cast preformed expertly. The ticket takers were kind, and we were shown to our seats! The also offer snacks and drinks (wine as well!)

I honestly don't think any other place could top this. (Except maybe Broadway:) Otherwise, it's one of the best experiences I've ever had.

The snacks are a bit pricey.but there couldn't be a better atmosphere. You feel like you stepped back in time

I love seeing plays at the Ellen. My first one I saw was Annie in 2017. Tonight I saw the play You Can't Take It With You and recently saw The Fiddler On the Roof a few months ago. The architecture is absolutely beautiful and it has been around for a very long time.

Such a wonderfully historic building. The arts they provide the community with are amazing! Fiddler on the Roof had us in tears several times. Great job, once again! We will continue to support you Ellen theater.

We had the most wonderful time seeing a production of Fiddler on the Roof last night. Everything was top notch. It was so wonderful to have live musical accompaniment instead of a track. The theater is beautiful, the employees so professional and kind. We couldn't have had a better experience!

My girl and I checked out Kiss Me Kate here just a month ago. It is a little run down but well worth a visit to stop and see a show. I will be coming back to this opera house.

We have seen community theatrical productions, professional theatrical productions, stand up comedy, Pecha Kucha, and more! The historic building is stunning, the staff is warm and welcoming, and I have never had a disappointing evening of entertainment. Do not miss out on the Ellen Theater!
