Ennis Sugar High

Pretty and clean location. The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. Food didn't take long to be made and nothing was over cooked. I loved it here.

The tourist trap prices outweigh the quality of the food and experience. You're looking at 15-23 per person.

We stayed in Ennis for a month and Ennis Sugar High was our go to place to eat. Everything is good! Amazing shakes, burgers, but most important BEST fries! We are going to miss this place.

Friendly staff, great burgers and shakes. We look for places like this in our travels, and when there are a lot of vehicles outside that usually tells the story.

Staff was friendly and it was clean. Food was delicious and our awesome child approved it!

I am not a big fan of huckleberry anything, but the huckleberry ice cream is truly amazing. Very small, outdoor seating makes bringing a winter coat necessary, even in June. Edited: No. My 3 stars aren't because of needing a jacket in June or the small shop.but because you asked, it is because of the attitude of those working there and the lack of friendliness. No smiles. Seems to be a minor irritation to help customers. Customer service everywhere else in ennis was great! That is why the 3 star rating.

Great drinks and burgers! The mushrooms were on the saltier side but the blended cappuccino drink was delicious? The sign to the bathroom gave us a chuckle as well

Ever go to a restaurant and get overwhelmed at the plethora of options that they have? Only to get what you ordered and was unsatisfied with your choice? Sugar High eliminates those factors by giving you only 8 different meal choices with your choice of fries, onion rings, or sweet potato fries as a side. They even carry soft serve ice cream and it’s toppings of your choice! It doesn’t get easier then that!

Very good! Surprised how tasty the food was, love the option to get your burger or chicken sandwich wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. Crispy chicken sandwich was so good! Online ordering was super easy. So far I've had their chocolate and huckleberry soft serve cones, now I want one everyday. Looking forward to enjoying their food when we visit Ennis. Wish we had a Sugar High in 4C.

Their Ice cream soft serve is really good and hit the spot. The food was ok. Not as good as I had hoped for the price we paid.

Good! Sweet potato fries nice and crisp. Crispy chicken sandwich good. But chocolate coffee milkshake tastes like they just tossed some beans into the blender.

A little high priced for burgers & onion rings. Tasted good but doesn't command the price charged. Not really a sit down place for a meal. More comfortable in your car.

They only have soft serve for Ice Cream, Choc-vanilla-swirl-and huckleberry. But was very good. I got a hot fudge sundae and it included 1 candy mix in. Prices very reasonable. They also serve a variety of food. Burgers, dogs, corn dogs, chicken nuggets. My husband had a grilled cheese sandwich. Would definitely recommend for a quick bite!

Best accidental restaurant find ever. Driving through with a hungry family, I would have stopped just about anywhere. We were so lucky to stop at the Ennis Sugar High. I’d say the food is similar to Shake Shack, but so much better. Burgers were fresh and tasty, lots of choices for shakes, and friendly service. I had the wild huckleberry shake and loved it!

Delicious and plenty of good combinations of toppings. Staff is helpful and accommodating.

Didn't have anything sweet here. Had arrived after a 3 1/2 hr flight and an hour's drive and had to stop for a burger and fries. Folks were nice, the meal was good and the place was clean. Other than that, it's an ice cream parlor. Try it.
