I was hesitant to pick a place to get a haircut. It had been a while and i wanted it to look good. Let me tell you, such a relaxing and comfortable experience. I was asked multiple times throughout my haircut if everything was looking good, and it definitely was. My haircut came out amazing. I absolutely loved my experience here and highly recommend everyone to come here.

Joan is such a baddie! Best bob haircuts in the valley. Such a great atmosphere and staff is so helpful.

I wanted so bad to love evolve, instead I feel like I have to warn everyone: (. I have natural coppery or reddish highlights on my brown hair, so I showed my stylist and asked her to bring in more of that. Instead I left with purple highlights and dark, dark hair. When I got home my boyfriend was shocked and said “I didn’t know you were dying it purple! ” I was so mortified. I waited a week for my correction appointment. She was able to get the purple out, but instead of correcting it to what I had originally asked for, and ended up highlighting it blonde. I called asking for a refund, and when I was told I couldn’t get one I asked for a different stylist. They said I had to stick with the same stylist but she would have a consult. The consult came over once and said yah looks good then left. I would highly recommend to go somewhere else if you want good customer service and a good, natural hair color!

I’ve been having my hair colored for 25 years and been to more colorists than I can recall, in many states and cities. I view it as an investment and will spend accordingly to see a more senior/master colorist to get the desired results. The last time I was getting regular balayage highlights was years ago in NYC - and despite spending an ungodly amount of money every time, didn’t like the effect as it was so natural, it was almost unnoticeable. It turned me off and back to foils. Well, Haley has shown it can be done with beautiful depth and dimension. She combines balayage with foils and it provides the perfect balance. She is young but has tremendous talent and maturity. Evolve is the fourth salon I’ve tried in Bozeman, and by far superior. I found Theory to be overrated/overpriced and turned to Evolve after a co-worker’s recommendation. And who wants to drive downtown these days and deal with parking for an hours-long appointment?
Haley is exceptional and I leave every time with gorgeous color, healthy and shiny hair, a precise cut and defined eyebrows (she is a multi tasking pro and waxes my brows while the gloss absorbs at the sink). And I love that she can do it all - and I don’t have to see a stylist for my cut in addition to a colorist and then tip an assistant to wash my hair. You rock Haley!

I got a trim with layers and face framing pieces 2 months ago and I’ve hated my hair everyday since. The face framing look like I had an accident with a curling iron and the layers just look like hair breakage and frizz. The lady was nice though.

Carolynn was absolutely amazing. She listened to what I would like done and made it come to life. 100% would recommend.

This is a wonderful, modern, and sleek salon. I originally was scheduled with another stylist, but Megan had to fill in last minute. And I'm happy she did! She did a formal hairstyle for a wedding I was attending and I loved how she did my pony updo. She was thoughtful in the whole process and made sure my updo was to my satisfaction. I hope she and the salon continues their amazing work!

Megan did an incredible job with my blonde highlights and cut, as well as cutting my husband's long & curly hair! We'd highly recommend Megan at Evolve!

Joan is the absolute best hairstylist I have ever experienced, she is a true artist! I always leave her chair feeling my very best. Evolve Hair Design is a beautiful salon full of talent, highly recommended.

Rayleena did a phenomenal job! It had been 3-4 years since I had my hair done at a salon. I felt very comfortable, well taken care of, the salon is beautiful and everyone is so well put together!

Second time seeing Haley for a balayage and she did a great job yet again! She's so fun and really listened to what I wanted, I can't wait to go back for my next color!

I am absolutely disgusted by my experience at Evolve Hair Design. The staff is completely unprofessional and their business practices are downright shady. I had booked an appointment for my wife and, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel it. I was shocked to find that they charged me an outrageous fee for cancelling within their supposed "24-hour cancellation policy. " My wife tried to cancel multiple times on their online system. And it did not work. When she tried to write to them on their text system, it didn't work either. Apparently, their janky system is somehow her financial responsibility.

When I asked about the reason for the charge, the staff was completely unhelpful and unapologetic. They seemed more interested in making money than in providing quality customer service. I felt completely taken advantage of and cheated.

Overall, I would not recommend this hair salon to anyone. They are clearly more interested in making money than in providing quality service to their customers. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. They used to be good, now they are just overpriced and gross. Don't go here.

Haley was super friendly and personable. She was super understanding when I had to arrive a little late but provided amazing service. She knew exactly the colors to have me pick from and gave an excellent hair cut (and I have challenging hair to cut: fine and straight). Will definitely come again!

Megan was my stylist & she did a phenomenal job! I wanted my short hair trimmed and some blonde balayage. The tricky thing is I have very thick and course curly hair. Megan was not phased by this at all, and she delivered! Her personality is so fun and easy to talk to. Highly recommend going to Megan, especially if you have curly hair:)

I highly recommend evolve, They are very professional, nice, caring and just all of the above. Joan the owner did my hair for free just because I didn’t like how it turned out the first time and she did an amazing job she took her time and actually cared about how I felt and wanted me to feel confident 10/10 recommend, The workers are the sweetest gals totally going back!

Haley was did an amazing job and was so much fun to chat with! I was very nervous as I just moved to the area and it is always difficult to find someone who really listens and understands what you are looking for and I am so happy to have found Haley! She was also a delight to chat with!
