Ewam and Garden of One Thousand Buddhas reviews
28Very unique, interesting, peaceful place to explore as well as a beautiful koi pond. I was a little disappointed the gift shop closed though.
Absolutely beautiful grounds and a wonderful place to stop and stretch your legs! The gift shop is full of great, handmade items & books that I have not seen elsewhere. It is entirely exposed to the elements, no shade or really any cover in case of a storm but the Buddhas are exquisite. I would recommend it to anyone passing through in search of a few minutes of meditation & tranquility!
So excited to finally visit! It's an open sanctuary that reminds me of the shrines one might find in Asia (Nepal or elsewhere).
1,000 buddha statues and also a hill with a somewhat of a flag samctuary.
A hidden gem! Gorgeous views in every direction. If you’re driving through Montana you must plan to stop here.
What a beautiful and peaceful place. I was definitely in awe while there and so glad we made the drive from Kalispel to visit.
A must see if you are in the area. It is incredibly beautiful and has a great story behind it. One of the coolest places in Montana
The neighbor are wonderful people. They are very acommadating. Both of them are artist and in tune with nature.
An absolutely beautiful place for all people, all backgrounds, all differences. I went on a breezy, sunny day and had a perfectly meditative experience. I highly reccomend.
What an awesome hidden gem in the mountains. The girlfriend was super excited to take us here and now I see why. We had the best time walking through the garden. Afterwards we stopped in the gift shop and the gentleman working was so friendly. The kids loved the fresh doughnuts and we picked out some pretty cool souvenirs. Fresh lavender, sage prayer flags and 1 super rad bag pack. I can not wait to come back.
If you are ever in that area of Montana near Missoula do not miss this unbelievable display. It is a short ride just north of Missoula. It was extremely cold when we were there but well worth the walk around all of the 1000 Buddhas. They have a gift shop with numerous things that you can purchase if you are interested.
Loved it. So peaceful a wonderful place to see. It was by donation. However the gift shop was a bit pricey so I didn't leave with any gifts or anything. To bad they had some cool singing bowls and incense.
Doesn't matter if you're a Buddhist or not. Worth the trip. Just remember to be reverent while there.
Loved it, can't wait to go back and actually spend some time meditating, and maybe spend some time with the monks
Serene, lovely and I'm sure there are at least 1000 budhas. Seemed like a long walk to gift shop so we didn't go. Also, no signs off Hiway 93 to mark your turn. Better know where you're going.
Absolutely stunning. It was very quiet and peaceful despite there being quite a few people when I went. Very meditative and spiritual experience. The gift shop had a lot of beautiful items and the person running it was very nice. I will definitely go back and recommend this to anyone interested in Eastern philosophies and religion.
Was able to get into the Garden an hour early for sunrise. Such a spiritual place to go to experience. Take a tour of the Garden if you don't know much about Eastern philosophies. Will be going back without any doubt.
Nice meditation garden with shade trees up where you can see beautiful mountain peaks from the mandala
Goregous place. The Garden is filled with hand cast Buddha statues. You can take a meditative walk around the circle or hike the prayer flag hill for great views of the valley. Really enjoyed visiting here a second time. Don't forget to support the gardens by picking up something at their nice little gift shop.
Very peaceful, out of the way, but not too much. Great place to to spend an afternoon or early evening. I can't believe I didn't know about this place until just recently
