WOW. I love this bookstore! The employees were so sweet and polite. They have a great selection with plenty of inclusive titles (queer, trans, people of color, fat, etc). Amazing to see such an inclusive and welcoming space.

The well-selected shelves here tell of how UM has one of the best MFA programs in the country. This longtime shop has been feeding people's minds for a long while, and I expect will do so for a long time yet. You can tell it is run by people who love books. If you do also, come browse.

Went in for the first time today and loved it! So many great books, very well curated. If you had to choose to visit only one- Shakespeare & Co or Fact and Fiction…. F&F for sure.

This store is NOT a book store nor a learning environment. It is a biased propaganda store peddling politics and ideologies. I walked in while the owner was yelling at someone for disagreeing with her. She has no classical literature nor philosophy. There are political posters and banners ALL over the store. I’m atheist and libertarian. She is pushing an agenda and is angry against anyone who disagrees. Knowledge goes beyond absolutism and anger. #yawn

Mara and Brynn (spellcheck me on that) are always super helpful without being intrusive on the browsing experience. And the curation here is nice! Good collection of poetry, some fun cards, and overall just a nice spot.
