Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Helena

Unfriendly staff members (robots), dusty and dirty rooms, dirty toilets, sink that doesn't rest, water doesn't drain in the bathtub, hairs everywhere (in the toilet, shower, bedding, carpet). It seems that the room was not cleaned before the reception. Very basic and tasteless food. Disposable dishes.
In short, an unpleasant experience. Luckily the stay was for one night.

Amazing service. Angel at the front desk was the embodiment of her name.

The bed was lumpy, and yet I slept like a log.

Breakfast was ok. Please cook the sausage patties a little longer so they're browned and not pale and slimy.

Well, I would like to say it was pleasant. But it was most unpleasant!
The room they put me in was filthy, I saw a couple bugs, It smelled funky. Anyway, Maybe they should pay there housekeepers higher wages. Then maybe they would do better at their jobs. Just saying. I feel like I got ripped - off.

Decent building and decent actual rooms. The review is low due to some of the issues our group had. An air conditioner didn't work in one of the rooms, tried to move to another room, then tried to check in and had been completely taken out of the hotel with no record of them ever even staying there. With a lengthy stay I did ask for a room cleaning, was told they would do it and it never happened. I even noticed someone had put a note on their door asking housekeeping for bedsheets and towels that was likely ignored, as it was there for multiple days, as there's no sign to put on your door asking for housekeeping.

In some of issues it did sound like someone new had been brought it to try to fix this hotels issues who had grown increasingly frustrated with their lack of professionalism, so with any luck they'll bring it back up to par with Marriott.

Update: multiple issues with credit card charges! Going through Marriott customer service as the employees at this hotel on the phone won't help at all!

Update: STILL having issues with their billing. Whoever you get on the phone is rude. If you made the mistake of staying here take your issues up with Marriott Customer Service or your credit card company! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I booked this hotel a couple month in advance. When I arrived at 9: 00 pm they told me that they had no rooms available. They had overbooked the hotel. No offer of assistance to find another room. Not their problem. After trying for an hour and a half to find another room in Helena we concluded there were none. We had to drive to BIg Sky which is 2 hours away. Got to bed 1: 30 in the morning! To top it all off they charged me for the room. I called for two months before I was finally credited for the room. I was also told they would give me some Bonvoy points for my inconvenience and I have still yet to see them. Terrible management. Beware!

They overbooked and I found out at 9: 30 pm my credit card reserved room had been given to someone else. Had to find last minute room elsewhere in busy Helena very stressful as I had packed day ahead. There are better places you will want to pass on this one.

Business trip to meet with state agencies. No WIFI! I talked to the desk clerk and was told that there was no ETA on getting it back online. The desk clerk said "the owner probably didn't pay the bill ". The room smells like smoke, bath tub is all chipped up, work desk in room is shabby and chipped up, walls have messy drywall patches and the bathroom sink is cracked and stained. Would I stay again? Nope, Nada, Never. ~Disappointed Bonvoy member. Why Marriott? Just why?

Nice hotel with a good breakfast but scarce staff and typically empty coffee up front. Odd that the empty cookie plate at reception was not washed nor refilled, just sat empty.

2-star hotel.
Pool and hot tub do not work.

Breakfast is limited to cereal, diluted coffee, scrambled eggs and pork patties. Pictures of the food are posted by hotel do not reflect reality.
The rooms are clean and quiet.
The staff is very nice and friendly.

Older Fairfield, has most essentials. Staff friendly. Fridge in our unit doesn’t seem to work very well. Hotel could use some updating, otherwise a pleasant enough stay.

Older Fairfield Inn but quiet, clean and conveniently located in Helena. Conner at the front desk was WONDERFUL after a long travel day where nothing else went quite right, it was nice to end it with a great check-in experience
