Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que, Kalispell MT

Show leather brisket. 1st came out cold AND rubbery. Asked to be reheated, they brought “new” brisket, and it was equally like shoe leather. So sad to see this place’s quality drop so much from what it used to be. Terrible. Won’t be back until I hear things have gotten better.

I had to flag down a waiter, burnt ends were mushy and fatty, not edible. Most of the sides we had were sub-par and barely warm. I wouldn't go back to this location. Too bad this place is going downhill, evident by the lack of customers, must be poorly managed. If the food was in point, they'd have a chance.

Generally decent food, but it is all very sweet like the answer to everything is dump sugar on it.

Not the best BBQ, but it satisfies my craving each time. Besides the food tho.every time, and I mean every time I come here the staff has been absolutely wonderful, sweet, kind, professional, engaging, attentive, I really could go on and on. So if you're looking for good food and great service.here it is.

Called my order in, they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. It was done before the 20. Always great service, weather dinning in or taken out. 4&1/2 stars.

Get a spot near the fireplace, if you can and ask for Bridger, he was a great server.

Would of given a zero but couldn’t so disappointed in our famous Dave’s the manager so rude told me the dasher responsibility to check my food I don’t want someone that isn’t in the food industry to open and check my food… never will I go there again… they wouldn’t do anything for me and also said it isn’t their problem… wow

Service was a little slower than usual but because of staff issues but overall a great place.

I had surgery today on my hand and then my brother and I were trying to get food elsewhere and there were lines upon lines and we had passed Famous Dave's, and he's like let's go back and check it out and I'm so so glad we did! I'm picky about my BBQ, and let me tell you this food is awesome! And our waitress, Jasmine, she was awesome as well, great personality & attitude.we will be going back very soon)

Unfortunately this is always sub par. I keep trying i want to like it but EVERY SINGLE TIME the food is always luke warm more on the cooler side no matter how long you wait its never fresh and its crazy expensive for food that is never fresh or hot and small portions.

Cozy and has a nice atmosphere, server was nice and staff were nice. Food however was okay. The ribs I ordered barely had any meat and were smothered in sauce, the ones my dad got were all fat and little meat. Other than those the food was good and we did have a few items forgotten about.

Love me some Famous Dave's. I usually get the two meat Que Combo with the delicious sides. The corn bread muffins are some of the best that I've ever had. I even bought some of their rib rub and smoked my own ribs with it and everyone said that they loved the flavor.

It was my husband's birthday. The meals were excellent. My steak was perfect. The server did a very nice job. As usual we were not disappointed.

Went to grab a curbside pickup order. Great food as always but the teenager working the phone and front counter could have an attitude adjustment.

Food was just not very good, it came out cold! Very expensive, might as well go to Mcdonalds instead. This place needs a new manager!

Famous Dave’s is in the same position as millions of businesses across the nation - incredibly short on staff. Upon arriving, we were told there would be a wait regardless of the open tables and were told it was due to lack of staffing. We were seated about 15 minutes later after being told the wait would be 30 min. The table at the back of the bar was being served by the bartender, Megan. The manager again was very honest and told us she was swamped and would it be ok if it was slower than normal. Megan was AMAZING! She was attentive, detailed and apologized profusely every time she felt like we waited too long.

We have been to many establishments in the Valley who are seating tables and creating long waits for customers without the transparency we received tonight. The manager was polite and honest, Megan was fabulous and the food was excellent.

Great food! Compliments to the chef. However, I ordered to-go online and they seem to struggle with getting orders right… I ordered a feast & 4 kids meals. 2 meals were correct, 1 was missing, and 1 had the wrong side. Also ordered a couple bottles of bbq sauce and got a handful of packets. I expected better after spending $120. The food we got was really good though…

The food is honestly just not good. Cheese curds were the only thing I liked. I’ve just had way better BBQ’s honestly. Waitress was amazing though!

Showed up at 8: 10 pm which is 50 minutes before closing. Hostess got permission from manager before putting us on the wait list so we could be seated before closing. At 8: 30 we were told, along with many other parties who had been waiting far longer than us, that they could not accommodate us. Sad that so many people were turned away from this establish with so many empty tables. Wish we were told when we arrived but I really feel sorry for those who waited 45 minutes or more!

If you want BBQ this is the only place to go! The food was incredible and the staff was friendly and timely. Defenetly recommend for any bbq cravings.
