Farmers Insurance - Bill Gardner, Great Falls MT

Bill does not return emails or calls. We requested switching our auto on numerous occasions and he plain out did not call back. I transferred to another farmers agent who got it done in a day, saving us $245 every 6 months. Review of our homeowners also showed areas where he just errored. I am so glad I didnt need his help for a claim, I can imagine that would have been a nightmare.

Bill is a very nice and personable person. However, he is a terrible insurance agent and businessman. We had requested $500 deductibles to later learn we had a $1,000 deductible. We pay it, figure maybe it was our fault, we weren’t clear, we didn’t check the paperwork good enough. Fast forward two years or so. Need to file another claim. Guess what. Still a $1,000 deductible after 100% for a fact telling him what we wanted. Is that not enough? Well we used him for about three years with my date of birth listing me as 4 years younger than I actually was (so under age 25) the entire time. Once we noticed it, we contacted him to correct it. Then again. And again. NEVER GOT FIXED.

Towards the end, we grew tired of over paying and asked Bill multiple times to re write our policy (and correct my age). We were constantly blown off.

Ultimately, Bill is truly a good person. Unfortunately he is the absolute worst insurance agent.

(Farmers is decent insurance though, easy and helpful claim process.)

Farmers has given me the best rates! And Bill is by far the best agent I have ever had. I highly recommend him!
