Finley Point Campground reviews
7Great campground, very quiet, paved sites. Touch on the pricey side with no RV dump but would stay here again.
I give it five stars but there are a couple of flaws or pointers that might help you. I was in site 15 right down on the lake, which was absolutely stunning. But just know there are day use picnic tables between you and the lake. You will have people walking along the lake in front of you and if your like me, you will have people walking through your site in the next one. I even had someone throwing their ball into my site for their dog. This is no-fault to the campground as they even have leashes to borrow.
The lake was stunning. The views are stunning. I would recommend the sites above with lake views. That’s where I’ll see you next time so I can get some privacy and have beautiful views. But then you’ll have to hike down the hill to get to the water.
Amazing camping with potable water pumps. No Hiker/Biker spots but it’s worth the price for the tent spots!
This is a lovely Montana State Park & Campground on Flathead Lake. We camped with a 35foot Diesel Pusher Class A Motorhome with NO issues.
Will return for a longer stay.
No dump station. No showers. No water at sites. Upper hill sites are not level and steep. The road into the park is rough. Will never go back.
The tent site T002 was very nice. The tent plot was filled with small pebbles but a thicker layer for the stakes. The tent sites are pretty close together so you can hear everones conversations. Very little privacy unless the tent spot next to you is empty. It was a little loud during the day between the kids running around and peoples dogs but over all not to bad. Great view of the lake! The bathrooms were very clean as well. Firewood for sale at $7 a bundle. We had a great time.
Beautiful setting with excellent views from the water sites.
Sites offer no privacy and there is very little place to walk dogs
Restrooms and campground are very clean however camphosts will not enforce the leash rule so dogs are running everywhere all the time.
Access road is 4 miles long and the last two miles feel like 8 as the road is both rough and narrow plus there is no place to turn a 5th wheel around until you get to the campground. Watch out for the monster holes.
Each site has power but no water so bring a jug.
Day use and picnic area are right in the waterside campsites so its very loud during the daytime, very loud.
The 4 rating is weighted heavily on the views and the daily deer. If the views did not exist the rating would be a 2.
