Firestone Complete Auto Care reviews
17We were traveling thru and our wheel had came off and become out of balance late Sat afternoon. Firestone said they would work us in asap so we could get back home and their service was amazing and really went out of their way to rotate the tires and balance them for us even tho our large rims take allot of time. Other shop in town wouldn't touch it saying they didn't have time but Firestone came thru.if you need anything head there they will have my service when I'm in town. Thank you again Firestone!
Technicians are friendly and diligent. However have experienced more than once laziness, rudeness, no job knowledge, worst I have seen for a small business lately.
These guys were awesome and really came through for me when I needed my tire fixed right before they closed. Will be back again.
They replaced my daughter's drive line (which I'm going to have my regular mechanic check) and they didn't tighten the negative cable on her battery So my daughter was stranded at night alone at night because of their negligence.not impressed and will NEVER take a car there again.that could have been really bad had she been out of town all alone. And you need tools to even get to her battery.
Really happy with my experience. Everyone was nice and honest. The mechanic did an awesome job. The woman at the counter was helpful and knowledgeable.
Edit: I don't know what happened there in the last year, but this time a guy answered and was terrible to deal with. He asked the size of my tire and I told him my car. He said he couldn't look it up like that. I explained that I had to input my car into HIS WEBSITE to find the tire I wanted. He still said he couldn't do it. I went to their site an input the info again, gave him the tire I was interested in and he told me they could not honor the price advertised and it would be 120.00 more! His voice from start to finish was rude. I will not be returning here ever.
I arrived there at 5pm. Website and signs on the door both say open until 6, but the door was locked and lights were turned off.
I had an appointment for 12: 00pm it is now 1: 20 and they still haven't taken my car back to do the alignment. They said I could come back at 4: 00 if I didn't want to wait. HaHa! Come back at 4 so I could sit another hour and a half or more for them to do my car? I don't think so. Still sitting here waiting!
After having Firestone in Great Falls Montana install tires on my 24 inch wheels, they ripped the bead on one tire and paid to have it replaced, when I went to pick up my vehicle all four wheels that were brand new out of the box had gouges through the paint into the metal and Firestone paid to repair the wheels. I was told that they were having issues installing the low profile tires and used "heaters" to make the tires easier to mount. Less than 1,000 miles on these tires and all four that they mounted have developed major bubbling on the interior sidewall. One of the tires even had a gouge on the inside of the sidewall. I've been advised by another tire shop that the heat used during mounting most likely compromised the sidewall. Firestone's response to this is that road hazards probably caused the tires to fail. I don't mind if I call a shop and they say that they can't do something. But if I call and ask specifically if you are qualified to install tires on 24-in Wheels I expect the job to be done correctly without damaging what you install. Absolutely incompetent and lack of pride in their work.
I appreciated the honesty and integrity. A gal named Heavenly gave me excellent customer service.
My own dealership bypassed what I needed fixed during servicing after I told them the problem and they still said they found no issues, as I’ve had a continuous slow leak in one of my tires and my dash shows it on the sensor as well so more often Ive had to air up, finally the other day it gave out my tire was almost flat I was close by Firestone thank goodness and swung in for some assistance and was greeted and helped by Heavenly and she had my problem solved (it was the valve stem core broken) fixed replaced and I was out of there in no more then 5 minutes and all aired up ready to go free of charge, so shout out to her and Firestone I am grateful and thankful great service five stars happy new year take care cheers!
Good attentive staff and do their job well. Never purchased tires through them directly but their services were good.
I tried to give you my business but the girl answering the phone made sure I went somewhere else. All I wanted was my AC emptied then I would bring it back to fill after I replaced a part and she said there was "no way to seperate those two things". Yeah, im pretty sure there is
Very. Very slow. Doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not, plan for them to have your vehicle for at least 5 hours minimum for a simple tire rotation. This has happened 3 times in a row. Will never go back.
Firestone checked out our vehicle on short notice due to a battery charging notification. All checked out fine.
Firestone employees were kind, professional, and thorough. They took time to explain possible problems and encouraged us to wait patiently for a complete check by the technicians.
I would not hesitate to visit them again and I highly recommend them to others.
I won’t take my truck to anyone else. This team is knowledgeable, honest and Jim has been great at addressing my concerns explaining options for maintenance and best long term fixes for my vehicle. The front desk gals are equally efficient in scheduling and follow up. Thank you Firestone!
TL;DR: Mechanics wanted to keep my car for the night to install tires. I said no, as another tire shop can do it faster and cheaper and get more done in a shorter amount of time.
Wanted to give this place a chance. I called, they said they had 4 new tires for my car as no other place had the tires I needed. So I take my car to them on a Friday at like 12: 30 or something. They tell me I should have my car back in a couple hours so I say great! Then 17: 00 rolls around. They call me to tell me they want to replace the TPM sensors for an extra $90 per tire. I tell them no, I just want the tires replaced. So about 17: 30 comes around they call me and tell me they need to keep my car overnight to get the tires on. Mind you it was a beautiful sunny day, about 50-60 degrees outside. They had the tires all day just sitting there. Then they tell me they need to keep my car overnight just for a tire change. I ended up telling them no, I want my car back because its my only way to get home. Of course they say they gotta put the old tires back on so I say cool. I asked them to give me my money back. Which they did.
Then lo-and-behold, the mechanic drives the car to me with the e-brake on and the interior is dusty and filthy.
Darryl's Tire center in Vaughn can get 4 new tires installed, tire balance, and tire alignment done in less than 2 hours. No excuse for a tire shop to need to keep my car overnight just to swap out the old tires for new ones.
Like I said I wanted to give this place a chance. I'm never going to recommend this place to anyone or go here ever again.
