Glacier Clean Car Wash reviews
18I've called so many times about their awful card reader. They tell me how to make a selection and pay. Every single time it says that there is fraud so they proceeded to tell me that the car washes are stacked. Maybe they are but why would it do that every single time I go there to try for over a year. And now, it eats cash. They don't care.
Wash my car there and their brushes scratch my car.she said i was not sentter much and seen camra.but never got back to me uhg my car is new car and always went to there car wash.didn't bother to fix my car and I always dry my car off to the side and the scratch wasn't there.
I used my credit card on the card reader, and $4.14 showed on the display. I used the suds brush on the windshield and rear window, then used the high-pressure spray to rinse off the suds. I was charged $10 for this short-time suds and rinse of two windows, not the entire car! The owner's reply is correct; The $10 charge is just pending, and is now gone. Thank you Kristi Hatfield for your explanation. Please put a notice in each wash bay that the first charge may be pending.
My husband and I visited Glacier National Park for the first time in September, 2023.
After a few days of driving up and down Going to the Sun Road, our car was covered in dirt, mud, dust, and bugs from the highway construction near Lake McDonald. We stopped at Glacier Clean Car Wash because it was close to our hotel. We happened to arrive the same time as Shayne Hatfield, the owner. Shayne happens to be a car nut like my husband, so they chatted for a while.
He showed us how to operate the car wash so we could clean our convertible without putting the top up. The machine was very easy to operate, and did a great job cleaning up our baby. After the wash, there was plenty of space to park and dry off. The price was very reasonable.
I later learned that Shayne invested in a solar system to provide hot water in icy weather and greatly reduce electrical consumption from the grid.
We highly recommend this car wash to visitors. It seems to be the “go to” spot for all the locals. You may be lucky enough to meet Shayne!
Very thorough wash. The prices are very reasonable as well. The credit card system was a little bit flaky however.
This is a great little car wash that helped us clean our rental after a muddy glacier trip. We used the manual sprayers and it was 2.5$ for 4 minutes. There's a 10$ hold that becomes 2.5$ later. Stop complaining about silly stuff like holds! Someone took the time and built this super convenient place and it's helpful so just say thanks and stop complaining and calling everything fraud. Thank you owner for providing us with good cheap options to clean our car!
Coins jammed in washer on east side, but owner offered to refund money! Car wash clean and affordable
Used my credit card to wash. Instead of letting me continue my wash by minute. The machine automatically stopped and wanted me to add another ten dollars for one minute of use. Scamm
Had to spray off the car after getting dirty going through Glacier National park. Used the self service sprayers. Worked well enough to clean the car for around 2.50$
Automatic wash doesn't work. Wouldn't take credit card because machine stated it was already in use. No cars in the bay. Had to wash the Going to the Sun (Mud) Road dirt off the car by hand spray. Western entrance to Glacier was a mud hole with deep pot holes for 9 miles in.
Someone left a.muddy mess in one of the bays
Dirty floor.
No soap for the wand wash.
No wax.
Doughtful on the “Spot Free Rinse”
Would like my money back. Used it on 8-9-23 around 7: 30 pm.
Lost a quarter as it was jammed and swiped card and it cost me $10 for 4 minutes 10 seconds, what a rip off.
Was pleased to find a drive-through car wash where we didn't have to get out and use a high pressure wand ourselves.
Went to put a 10 dollar bill in the change machine to get some quarters for the vacuum. It dispensed 10 dollar coins. NOTHING HERE ACCEPTS THE DOLLAR COINS IT DISPENSED! How is is that even possible? !?
Card swipe was broken, coin slot was jammed foam brush didn't have any soap in it nor did the high pressure soap wand. Waste of money and my time should have just done it myself at home.
Had no one to observe the time on a credit card. What should have been a quick time for 2.50 to 3.00 ended up being 8.00 on my credit card bill.
Update: Owners response indicated it could take 1 to 2 days to remove the $8.00 reserve charge and charge the correct amount. It finally did charge the correct amount, but am not sure when.
Brush soap didn't work as well as high pressure soap.
Spent 20 bucks for water I could have gotten from my garden hose!
Bay wash Machines eat your money and usually no onsite attendant although someone can be called for assistance. Always clean and an alley-way to walk your dog.
