Wow, just wow! We returned 4 years later to drive the whole Going to the Sun Rd and do some hiking. Absolutely stunning scenery! Would come back in a heartbeat. We came after Sept 10 so no pass needed to drive the Rd Yes it was very, very busy, as many other have said, but we were willing to wait at Avalanche and Logan's pass and found spots to park. Everyone was courteous and decent, had no issues with rude visitors or drivers like at a different national park
Definitely recommend the trip whether your far like us, 1800+ miles away, or closer. It is so worth the time! Go today!
5/2019: Wonderful place! Wish we had had more time and come closer to mid summer as most of the Going To The Sun road was closed but what we did see was fantastic! Amazing place to enjoy and soak in God's creation!
