Good Medicine Lodge, Whitefish MT

This place was so cute! The lodge itself is so warm and inviting, the staff is equally as inviting. Shayla and Megan were sweet, welcoming and informative.
The food at breakfast was wonderful! Unique and made with love these were some of the best breakfasts I’ve had all year.
Location is great, beds are comfy and the other travelers we met here were lovely as well.

Shayla was awesome! My husband is "gluten free" and she made every day special cookies or muffins besides breakfast. The attention to detail and friendliness is most welcome in today's world. Highly recommend. Oh, when you came back each evening, there was a charcuterie board and fresh made cookies daily.

We could not have been happier! Good Medicine Lodge was absolutely wonderful! Shayla and the team are the BEST! They were super nice and helpful with info about the area. I loved the 7am coffee every morning! The freshly made breakfast and pastry of the day were delicious. The homemade cookies were yummy too! Rooms were clean and comfortable. We actually eloped at GNP during our stay here. Great location in Whitefish. We would highly recommend staying here -in fact we are planning on staying again in the near future! Highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed.

My family and I was visiting Montana for a wedding and our stay at Good Medicine Lodge was better than we imagined.
The breakfast every morning was delicious. Ryan's special blend coffees made it even better. We looked forward, every afternoon, to sampling the different cookies and bread that was always available. The room was very clean and spacious. Ryan and Sara were always willing to suggest fun and interesting things for us to do. They were always very accommodating, if ask for something out of the ordinary. Ryan let us borrow a can of bear spray when we went on hikes. We felt like we were visiting family.
We would definitely recommend stay with Ryan and Sara if you are visiting Whitefish Montana.

My husband and I cannot recommend the Good Medicine Lodge enough. We came to Whitefish to be married and stayed several nights at the lodge during our trip. The rooms were clean, comfortable and beautifully rustic. There were full breakfasts every morning that were delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay there excellent. This is hands down the best place I have stayed and did not want to leave once our trip came to an end. We would not hesitate to stay here again and are hopeful we will again in the future!

We only had a short stay here, and we were so sad it wasn't longer. This place is a gem! The attention to detail is incredible! Beautiful rooms and overall beautiful lodge. The appetizers and cookies in the evening were a highlight! They are right next door to Bonsai Brewing Project, so that was just neat:) We had to get going for a bike race in the morning, so we couldn't catch the breakfast hour. However, they made us to-go breakfasts that were delicious and better than anything we could have found in the morning. Not only that, but the locally roasted coffee was divine, and the owners so passionate about what they do! We can't wait to come back!

Good Medicine Lodge was a fantastic place! We loved our stay there. Everything was done well and very intentional. The suite we stayed in (Huckleberry) was designed well and for comfort. The lodge itself was warm and inviting - having homemade cookies every day was a great added touch!

The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Ryan and Sarah were both helpful making recommendations and offering tips on getting the most out of our time in the Whitefish area. The breakfast each morning was a creative twist on breakfast food that was both tasty and filling. The pastry of the day was also fun and the homemade sourdough and jam was a great way to start our day!

One of the best parts of the lodge for us was the fresh roasted coffee. The coffee was as good as we have ever had. Ryan took the time to share some of his vast knowledge on coffee and was incredibly educational. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again when we are up that way with no kids.

Good Medicine Lodge has been my go to place to stay on multiple visits to Whitefish in the summer for The Last Best Ride bike race. The lodge is spacious with a welcoming feel upon arrival. Some of the best memories there were Sara's baked goods in the afternoon while sitting to enjoy the outdoor space and Ryan's home roasted coffee with breakfast. Ryan and Sara's hospitality are a notch above the rest. They were very accommodating with storing my bike and to go breakfast requests. They're really wonderful people running this B&B! The location is very central to downtown Whitefish and easy to get to Whitefish Mountain Resort (lots of fun activities in the summer) and Glacier National Park. Thank you for the hospitality!

Our stay at the lodge was amazing. The owners are so kind and truly want nothing more than for you to have the best visit. They had tons of local recommendations for us for eateries and activities. The food was terrific and the rest of the staff were so nice and accommodating. The lodge itself is so beautiful and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. Can't wait to go back soon!

From the moment you arrive at the Good Medicine Lodge, you will be welcomed and feel at home. The lodge is charming and extremely clean. We enjoyed hanging out inside and outside of the lodge after a long day of hiking or biking. The gourmet breakfast is always delicious and more than plentiful. Ryan’s roasted coffee and Sarah’s baked goods are incredible. They are served in the morning and always available throughout the day. The location was great for us. Each day we visited Glacier National Park as well as many other beautiful sites within driving distance. There is a great restaurant across the street and a fun brewery right next door. Charming downtown Whitefish is only a few minutes drive and has many great restaurants and shopping. Our stay at the lodge was amazing and we can not wait to return! It has been a while since I’ve stayed at a B&B. Wow! Good Medicine Lodge rolls out 5-star hotel accommodations all within the charm of a B&B. Loved the luxurious Huckleberry suite, gourmet breakfast changing each day, on-site fresh roasted coffees OMG, afternoon appetizers, and overall warm retreat. Truly a professionally run B&B unlike others I’ve experienced! Ryan and Sarah are the ever-helpful consummate hosts sensitive to your requests and at the same time your privacy. This is an experience not to be missed when visiting Whitefish MT.

I don't know what to say other than.perfection. The entire stay was perfect. Beautiful location, great rooms, fabulous breakfast and happy hour. Thank you, Ryan and Sara, for an absolutely wonderful stay.

Stayed over Christmas and it was one of the most magical BnB experiences I've ever had. I would have been overjoyed with even 30% of the hospitality my partner and I received. Fresh baked treats daily, with exceptional breakfasts every morning. I counted down the hours everyday for happy hour to arrive, the snacks provided are also to die for. You know it's a good place when you're daydreaming about the next time you can make it out WHILE you're there. Wonderful location too with grocery and dispensary right down the street. Places like this make me love Montana.

We had a wonderful experience at the Good Medicine Lodge. Before we decide on place to stay for winter vacation I made a lot of search and this place showed up with 5 star reviews that’s why we decided and I can tell that was one of our best decisions ever. Every staff member I encountered, since we entered to the check- in every team member were happy to assist and were delightful and eager to help! The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate honeymoon and the best part was they offered us one of their suit Huckleberry as an upgrade and placed an amenity to celebrate us! Amazing! We both work on hospitality and I can tell that they provide the best high touch service, make you feel unique.
They put smile on our face every single day! Thank you! Will recommend to everyone who I talk with about this amazing experience.
And breakfast every morning, OMG! I know that might sounds crazy but every single day we both were so excited to start our day with sourdough bread, fresh coffee, dessert (muffin, cake which freshly made every day) and crunchy granola these are just starters before they serve your breakfast… sounds crazy but this is real! And the sourdough babka that Ryan was working on… delicious! Oh, before I forgot! After you discover the city or come back from skiing there is a plate waiting for you with wine as an afternoon snack… delicious.
Ryan Sarah and rest of the team are doing just amazingly good work to make your stay perfect.

Good medicine lodge has turned us into B&B lovers again! The delicious and full breakfasts, fresh brewed coffee, warm cookies, and unique happy hour treats were all so incredible! The wine and conversation was so pleasant as well! We loved getting to know Ryan and Sarah! It was almost as if you were staying at an friend’s home! We cannot thank you enough for your help, advice, and hospitality! We recommend you to everyone and will most definitely be back!

This place was awesome! I stayed two separate one night stays and I had an early 6am flight one of the stays so I wasn't able to be there for breakfast so they packed me a breakfast to take to the airport! Their food was so good including their homemade cookies. The staff was so helpful and kind, the location was excellent as I was able to walk to the downtown area, a delicious Mexican restaurant across the street and brewery next door, and even got a run in to Lion Mountain, plus the lake was only a 10 minute walk away! I would defiantly stay here again!
