Habitat for Humanity ReStore reviews
13As an avid thrifter, I'm always impressed with the variety and quality of goods at the ResStore. No matter what I'm building I try to start here first.
Extremely overpriced, especially for donated used items. Not a good place. Example they had a Hudson Bay light for $60 and that same light brand new is $65. A $20 gallon of new paint at a paint store, there is $17. Etc etc. Not a fan and I'll just buy new at these jacked up prices. Sad deal and I felt bad for the old man in line in front of me. Horrible!
They say every dime spent helps families, well lower your prices and help families. I'll never donate from a remodel there again.
Not going to lie. I was super disappointed when i went in there. They raised their prices for the same stuff. Just went to lowes had the same parts for the same price but new!
I always find things I can use. I came to get a toilet and got one. I also found house numbers and a bookcase.
Nice place to pick up some cool odds and ends for projects - The "Prices are Firm" signs aren't true though as I've heard negotiations happening almost every time I'm there. The guy in the back (lacking some teeth) is wheeling and dealing with people almost every time I'm in there. Stick to it or don't - but people notice when you go against your "policies".
If you're looking for that certain something, you just might find it there. It's pretty surprising at times. They have a lot of interesting items. Plus other items that you probably couldn't find anywhere else.
Great place to get reasonably priced building materials & lots of other stuff. Also great helpers
What a great store, and even better, their mission to get families into a home of their very own! Keep up the great work, our community needs you!
Great prices and selection of items sold. And if you don't like what's available this week go back next week they'll be something different.
The staff was very friendly and humorous. Loved the store and they had exactly what I needed. Thanks guys!
Friendly helpful staff. Low prices and good merchandise. We recently had to replace our toilet and they were very helpful making sure we had everything we would need. They even have a small clearance section. Would go back again and would recommend them to anyone on a budget.
It's to ridiculous expensive, for the items that were donated only for to be sold as if they were new. You can get the same items somewhere else, for a couple more dollars. My husband hates your store, feels you have abuse the good intentions of the people who in good faith donated, for others who can't afford to buy top price. I guess, the joke is on us.
Thank God, for Facebook. Billings can count on those who really have good intentions to help others. Evedently time has proven you don't.
The store does a nice job of displaying donations. I've donated and I've bought. And those buys were a great value. If it doesn't work out I usually donate it back.
