Heavens Peak Montana Kitchen, West Glacier MT

Come here for a ALCOHOL ONLY. Food is subpar and portions prices don’t justify the price. This place is catered for Instagram pics. For a place that has a upgraded register and a $15+ pulled pork sandwich, I’m not sure why we have to drink out of cups. For $3. No fountain drinks either. Lindsey working the register also doesn’t seem to know how to fill up a cup of lemonade. Without ice. Definitely not worth the 20% tip that I added when we were the ones grabbing all our food and refills lol $120 wasted.

Really friendly service! Perfect stop after a long day of hiking! Kids had a blast hanging out playing volleyball, food was great and really relaxing atmosphere!

We tried to dine here but were unable to. I'm not exactly sure what the deal is because when we stopped by on July 31st for dinner, the available menu items were completely different than what was online. Instead of apps, entrees, BBQ, etc, all they had were items like hotdogs and burgers. We opted to go somewhere else because that's just not the kind of food we like to eat, and when we drove by the next day, their sign said they were closed for the season. With peak season being for at least another 4-6 weeks, I'm not really sure why they're closed, but based on the signage, I take it they won't be open again until next year.

I travel a lot and eat at a large variety of places and I must say this was one of the most disappointing places I have ever been. To begin, the service was terrible. There was 1 other couple in line in front of us and it took over 11 minutes to order. The staff was arguing to each other about whether something was done correctly in the middle of us ordering. Another time one of them said “sorry I will be right with you, I cannot find one of my workers”. After finally ordering the Mac and Cheese and a Pulled Pork Sandwich I asked for more BBQ sauce because there were only about 4 drops on the pork sandwich itself. I was told that an extra little bit of BBQ sauce was “$1 DOLLAR because it was house made”. I am pretty sure almost every BBQ restaurant has “house made” sauce in which they make themselves and not buy at a grocery store. So now we are attempting to eat what we thought was the worst Mac and Cheese we have ever had, but also a “BBQ” sandwich with no BBQ sauce. Overall this was a terrible experience. Overpriced drinks/cocktails (tiny tiny cups) and food that was just not very good at all. If I could have gotten my money back and left, I would have. Good luck to anyone that decides to give this place a try. I gave it 2 stars only based on its location and cleanliness. Very disappointing!

We stumbled across this place driving home day 1 in Glacier and couldn’t get over the view. Not only is the view great, but staff is fantastic, food is incredible and the vibe is overall perfection. We loved it so much we came back 3 times during our trip!

Also the huckleberry brownies will change your life.

Service was great. Had to eat outside but great view. Food was good. Maybe a bit overpriced but kind of to be expected in the area. Nice creative selection if tasty adult beverages.

We stopped because of the dancing bear and found out it was Nick! We love his spirit! The food was delicious. Burgers and salad a must!

As a local, it is great to see this place open up again. They have good food and a nice family atmosphere.

Lindsay and Alex were wonderful at Heavens Peak! The food and cocktails were delicious and the view can’t be topped! Would definitely recommend.

Loved the location just down the road from Glacier National park. Great outdoor area with a view and games. Lindsay was our bartender, great service and a smiling face. Would definitely recommend. Try the brisket Mac n cheese!

The Huckleberry Aioli smash burger > your favorite childhood memory. No joke. Compared to this burger, your 9 year old birthday party? Trash. First trip to Disney? Garbage. The food here will make you start going to church again. It’s that good. And the staff treat you like family. Like good family. Not like your annoying Aunt who keeps posting stuff about politics on her Facebook page family. Anyway this place rocks. You should go.

I would give this place more stars if I could. We stopped after a long day, and having turned around at a couple other places due to their no pets policies. This restaurant is mostly outdoor and they had no problems accommodating us. There are volleyballs, hula hoops, giant jenga and other things to enjoy when traveling in a group. The food is moderate, and slightly overpriced. I wouldn’t mind stopping here again despite the food.
If you have room, definitely order the chocolate brownie and the huckleberry cheesecake.
