King Ranch Golf Course reviews
17Had a great day at King Ranch. My kid hit up the driving range for the first time and I played a quick 9. Well maintained, very friendly staff, and pretty affordable!
Had a wonderful experience at King Ranch golf course! Beautiful scenery with wildlife sightings while golfing. Affordable, friendly service and excellent staff. I’m a lefty and so is my son and they had great rental clubs to accommodate us both. Can’t recommend them enough! Restaurant also has delicious food and drinks.
Really enjoyed our tournament here! The staff was very welcoming and they had everything organized & ready to go for us. The course was challenging but approachable, with a good variety of holes. Plenty of ponds! We thought the scenery was beautiful and appreciated how affordable our event was. We'll definitely be back!
I really enjoyed my experience at King Ranch! As a beginner golfer, I felt comfortable on the course, and very supported by management. The beautiful surroundings and views were icing on the cake! I have also eaten at their Mill Creek Restaurant several times. Delicious food, reasonable prices and professional, attentive staff made each dining experience a pleasure…I will definitely be back!
Our family had a wonderful time here with a fun family tournament! Friendly staff and excellent service! We loved the food in the restaurant and enjoyed several great meals there! Thanks King Ranch!
Course is in terrible condition. $40 for a cart without anyone else. DONT WASTE YOUR $$$$$. Go to any other course in MT. Now i know why you can always walk on. Total waste of money and time. Wouldnt pay to play ever again. Just close it down and sell the land!
We had a family reunion golf tournament and the course management couldn't have been more
accommodating. We all had a fantastic time. The owners came around during the course of the tournament checking on everyone and
handed out free pond pearls. Great personal touch.
Oh my gosh the course is beautiful. Prices just right, food excellent, very friendly employees. Just finished our family golf tournament. They were ready for our crew. Carts ready and the beverage cart stocked and restocked (several times) due to high volume sales. It was a perfect day! Come on out!
OMG try getting a tee time. Phone is perpetually busy and you have to go to a third party site, set up an account to do so and it's not responsive. Also they ask for your birthdate (required) to message them.seriously
Friendly staff, greens are in very good shape. Enjoy playing golf out here and stopping by the clubhouse after for good food and a beer!
Once the mosquitoes set in this course is unplayable. Played twice here early in the season and both times had strange or rude interactions with the course management making our party feel frankly unwelcome each time. Restaurant I’ll say is awesome, just uncertain if they want golfers to return to play though.
Played in a scramble at King Ranch over the weekend. Course was in great condition. They provided a drink cart with a good selection of beverages and even gave each group free golf balls to make sure everyone had a great time. Nice little club house with a great view and a nice bar.
If you want to feel like you’re donating plasma to mosquitoes, leave your spray at home.
And as a bonus tip:
Fairways = Rough
Rough = Fescue
Tee box = 2nd Cut
Greens = Fairways
Whoever mows this place thinks saving inches on grass will save the planet.
Absolutely terrible experience. Paid $75 to ride and the fairways were infested with dandelions. We were eaten alive by mosquitos. My husband and I left with about 30 bites each. We left at hole 12 because it was miserable.
The beauty in this course with the hardness it has makes it one of my favorite on the state!
Super nice people, I believe they're under new management. The pricing had jumped up a lot. For a single person with cart & 18 holes it's $75 Dollars. Seems a little pricey for not that decent of a course. They overbooked tee times and had to wait almost an hour for a cart. Greens are still looking a little rough but i mean coming off winter that's expected. There was a group of 6 which is way too many people for a grouping. Slow players made it for an almost 5 hour round. Most likely won't go back
Brought the boyfriend here to bond with my brother-in-laws. My sisters and I had a hoot watching them all golf together while we ate food at the grill and looked down on the course. Boyfriend reported back it was a great time, loves the course, and is looking forward to doing it again this summer with them
(See photo below of them all trying to figure out where the boyfriend’s golf ball sliced).
