Waterfall is awesome. It's easy to get right up next to the river & falls. It's unique because just upstream from the falls, the rocks are kinda like a channel, so you're arms length from the rushing river, yet you're standing BELOW water level a few feet. Your head is basically at water level.maybe this changes depending on the season.

Spectacular falls! The hike to then is fairly easy and there are lots of places to get you feet wet too!

Less than a mile hike to the bridge and falls. Terrain is dirt/gravel and there is some flat rocky terrain to climb, but it wasn't strenuous. Area has a large parking lot, a map, a store with food/water/souvenirs. This is worth the trip if you are near the area or visiting glacier national park.

While on a road trip in this area in our camper-van in August 2022, we enjoyed the short hike from US Highway 2 to the falls. When you get near the river, take the trail to the right to the falls.

Be aware that there is a bridge crossing the railroad tracks with a staircase that is not accessible or any wheeled device, such as a stroller.

The falls are not very high, but are impressive nonetheless.

We enjoyed some ice cream from the snack shack at the trailhead parking lot.

It as a fine Sunday when we were there, so there were a number of people visiting, but we had no problem finding a parking spot.

Highly recommended.

Love going to this place and hike but be very careful at The Swinging Bridge since they replaced it the metal is rubbing Through the Wood so it's causing it to lose the strength I think and the nails are coming up pictures down below
