Lake McDonald Lodge, West Glacier MT

We stayed in a small cabin near the main lodge. Wonderful room. Just what we needed for a restful sleep. Walking the grounds, we saw many bird species and browsing mule deer. We will be return guests.

We visited during off-season. The facility and grounds are gorgeous on the outside. Lots of cabins to rent. Lake McDonald is beautiful!

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The staff are great and friendly. The views are breathtaking. I'll definitely be back.

We love Glacier Park and gave always wanted to stay at the lodge. We were so disappointed that they have still not opened the restaurant here. This is is one of the big highlights. They must be unorganized or can't find help. Maybe next time.

Our first trip to Glaciar and we could not be happier with this gem of a hotel. Location was superb and the service made us feel right at home. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nice, clean and roomy!

It was the best place I’ve ever been to. The view was beautiful and the lodge was nice. We rented one of the boats and it was fun. The water was cold but we still swam. You could see all the trout and stuff by the docks it was amazing.

It was closed for the winter when we arrived, but otherwise looks like a nice place to camp.and start the going-to-the-sun road.

What a beautiful place to be among mountains, the clear water of Lake McDonald Lake, and the vast colors of the rocks that surround lakes edge.

No services in the off season, but we managed a successful wedding and beach photoshoot here. Roads well maintained, stay away in deep snow years.

When closed in winter, the lodge commands an awe and respect of it's timelessness. Legit log cabins and outbuildings give the aire of last-century mountain vacationing.

Deluxe rooms within the main lodge are extremely nice. The small cabins are a bit small as the name implies, but the location is unbeatable.
