Lewis & Clark Caverns reviews
11Didn’t have time to go in the caverns but the scenery was great! Map shows that you’re there before you are because the map marks the exact cave entrance, instead of the visitor center you have to stop at first.
We had an amazing time on this tour! We had some seniors with us, so we only took the Paradise tour and it was fantastic. Our tour guide Jorie (sp?) was SO informative and fun, she really made our experience as incredible as it was. We’ll definitely be back:)
Lily was a fantastic guide and quite informative. Classic Tour was a great value and interesting. Would highly recommend!
Jory was our guide. She had a great presentation! Very knowledgeable about the names, dates and geology. Enjoyed it very much!
Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is fun! We did the standard cave tour, which was very interesting. Be sure to make advanced reservations since it can be sold out. Although we didn't stay at the campground, we did check it out and found it to be quite nice for all types of campers. They have small cabins, tent cabins, sites with and without electrical hook-ups, and basic campsites. There are also lots of hiking trails. We will definitely go there again.
This was a great experience. Morgan was our guide. She was smart and funny. We really enjoyed the entire tour. We did the classic tour.
Lived this tour of the caverns. The guide was awesome, and the history was excellent. Highly recommend this stop on your travels.
I was not impressed. You spend more time walking there then you actually spend in the cave and FYI you have to pay for a tour to see the caves. You can not just go and walk in on your own. We spent 30 min maybe walking into the cave while our tour guide talked and talked and talked. All you do is go into a hall and then into one big room. It was neat but I could have done without the tour guide and it wasn't worth $50 I spent to get my family in.
We loved the caves. If you’re wanting to do this prebook the classic tour. You go through many more rooms. We ended up doing the more accessible tour which was the paradise tour. Still beautiful and our guide was amazing so it made it worth it. We had a great time and learned a lot.
We did the paradise tour and it was great! Learned lots of history about the park and about how the caverns were discovered!
